Yeah, how dare they think their team has a chance to win?

Vegas has them at 5.5 win total. Where is all this bs coming from about how good state is? They beat a couple bad teams. Will be damn lucky to win 7 games this year.

Lol. Lsu is a 13 point favorite.

The views and opinions expressed by Germantown Tiger do not reflect those of Las Vegas.

Are you still drinking from last night? Really - LSU should win by over 2 TDs.

It is like people are just spouting random shite. MSU defense might be a little better but they are prone to give up some rushing yards and their Oline is not as good as last year.

I don't know why some of our fans are just chalking this up as a loss

This is probably the best state team since Dak.

So they are probably better than last year? OK.

Both of those final margins were artificially made close by our shutting down the offense with leads of 21-6 and 23-6 in the 4th quarter. Let's hope we won't do that this year.

Some posters here can't wait for us to get beat.

Even State fans admit to having inconsistent passing and sub par OL. Not a very good situation to be in when a top defense is about to pull more sharp knives out of the drawer. Not to mention Canada going into page 2 of his offense.

Laughable - next week will be a big disappointment to the dawgs.

It won't be a cakewalk. I expect a dog fight. My heart tells me LSU pulls away at the end. 27-23 type game.

We're only 3.5 point favorites, to say we have no chance of losing is very delusional

A 4 point win is not "pulling away"

The Mississippi schools have been keeping things close with LSU for the last few years ONLY because they were willing to get physical with us and LSU wasn't. If Orgeron can pump them up and have physical type practices and we can match their physicality on the field for 4 quarters, cut the penalties out, fix the kicking issues, then we will beat them in the second half by a couple or more scores. This will have to be both Aranda and Canada's best jobs to date along with Orgeron preparing them for a real physical game. Toughness and controlled emotion will be key in this game.

LSU 34 State 16

If we don't cut the penalties down and can't get the kicking situation resolved then it could be closer, I just expect our coaches to get this fixed this week. Have to, if not we could have a 21-16 type of game. I can't see them scoring much with Key and Lawrence back. For the first SEC game against maybe the 4th best team in the west, and mistakes that wouldn't be a bad deal. LSU is much more explosive on offense then we've even seen so for. Our WRs out match anything they have in the secondary, same goes for our secondary and their WRs. Their WRs haven't been able to get open. They won't have a real good ground game so we would have to shoot our selves in the foot throughout the game to make it close. Probably lose a TO or 2 as well. If the Tigers come out clicking on all cylinders this thing could get out of hand easily. I guess after this game our fans will finally believe in this team? That's why I'm hoping we have if all figured out and we come out blazing. 42-13 type of game but anything can happen.
