I agree.

Time for LSU fans to stop comparing Miles to Saban. Saban has three, Miles has one.

Perception took a huge hit last night.

Coaches will never feel threatened by the "Mad Hatter" again. And I lost all confidence in him to get the win no matter what.

I was talking to my cousin about this at lunch. The "mystique" we were building is gone. All the other teams looked and thought "Hey we know we can break this guy (Les)"

Exactly. The "Mad Hatter" persona gave him an edge and coaches, including Saban in 2010 and on Nov. 5, made decisions based on gutsy calls Miles made in the past. That's gone now, he's been exposed!

cowards!
LSU is Bama's thorn in its side...y'all gotta learn sports psychology. Learn the role playing. Expect to lose some with Les.

You are set for an amazing year coming up and have no clue. Winning everything and geeting crowned SEC Champions was just a set up (see the NFL)? Thats for suckers. Bama was in due to a hanging chad...nothing more.
... LSU was the perfect victim.

Miles has made a lot of good adjustments in his time here. Let's see if he adjusts again and changes his offensive philosophy. I don't think the program took a monumental hit yesterday. It was the setback that we perhaps need to get better.

My faith in Miles. Great recruiter. Good coach. Not to be trusted when everything is on the line.

Say what you will. Miles had an opportunity to make a statement last night. Hell, he's shined in bowls and Saban hasn't. But we got fricking embarrassed.

No doubt we got embarrassed last night but even with that loss we, along with Bama are the class of the SECw. I truly the future is bright for LSU and I truly, truly believe that next year's team will be better than this year's team.

It is what it is, we lost because the QB position has not been strong for the past 4 years. We have upgraded the talent at that position and as long as Les can keep reeling top 10 recruiting classes, we will be contenders for years to come.

We have the most embarrassing fan base ever. Yeah we should just roll over and let the great Lord Saban just destroy us since it is obvious we just can't keep up. We suck, we will never win again, Mett will be horrible, The Sky is falling! The Sky is falling!

I think the talent is there to win it all next year. I've just lost faith in the coaches to a degree. Oh and by the way if there was ever a "sky falling" moment, it was last night. You may have missed it. It was, in context, the worst loss in LSU history.

That about sums up the coaching the past 4 years.

If only Saban had not bolted for the NFL, could you imagine the dynasty he would have built here?

It's not just him - it's the over the top fanaticism in that area. They will always devote more $ and energy to ensuring they are a good college football team. We put more than most into that but nothing like Bama. They absolutely mortgage all else to be good so it's hard to compete overall.

The fact that we'll still win some titles is nice but I'm actually learning to embrace the idea that we have other priorities in our fanbase and region.

Oh that's right. He took us undefeated and to number 1. Then miles says F you. My boys back now. See ya.

I am as disappointed as anyone, but I cannot understand the doom and gloom. After the Georgia game people were saying Miles was here for life and even talked about would we ever name the stadium after him. Of course, all of this was silly no matter the outcome of last night. We got hammered by a better team last night and that is all there is to it. One loss does not define an entire program or a coach's career. We will have a great recruiting class and compete again next year.
