Pretty common practice actually.

if the TRUTH were to be known, i'll bet EVERYBODY LIED. are you that naive? don't for a minute think that the 4 that got their asses kicked are pure as the driven snow. their "version" of events could probably nominate them for priesthood. do you realize how most bar fights start? somebody said something that pissed somebody else off and it escalated from there. either side could select to quit escalating but they don't and it ends up in fisticuffs. then, everyone tells their story which is fogged in alcohol, prejudice and anger. things are so confusing, some storytellers may even believe some of their concoctions.

Which is why the police never take a bar fight this far. I mean house searches and DNA...WTF!

It is criminal mischief, a misdemeanor charge. La R.S. 14:59

It is not obstruction of justice. La R.S. 14:130.1

Nathan Fisher is not going to allow his clients to lie to the police. Certainly not while he is sitting right there.

I'd bet that they are making sure that no one will be able to go behind them and say that they did shoddy work. They are covering all of the bases because their reputation is on the line. This is a high profile case.

Yes, you did. Good job. Now I am heading to court. Wishing luck to the felonious four (hopefully not).

Certainly more believable than the theory of a BRPD conspiracy to railroad JJ.

That's the reason this thing has cranked up way beyond where it maybe should have ended.

Simple as that.

Looking at the video of evidence gathering from JJ's apt, they had about 15 bags of evidence just from his apt.

The BRPD vehicle was filled with other evidence bags.

The police have a a set of facts. When they interviewed the LSU 4 on Tuesday, some or all of those kids came in with stories that were in contradiction (not in a good way) to those facts.

Now the police have to go on a forensics hunt to prove their facts were correct in the beginning.

This has gone beyond second or simple battery and now will included obstruction of justice and perjury charges. Mark my words.

Link? You know this how? Where? When?

The video showed JJ and his lawyer ... think i remembr JJ giving the lawyer a quick hug as they were walking to their cars. JJ did NOT look distraught at all. Perhaps this IS to clear him and put blame back on the Andrew dude??

I'm not a JJ hater or lover ... I just don't want to see someone wrongly accused or charged.

You are wrong.

If you lie to the police you can be arrested and charged just for that very reason. Case in point, Casey Anthony was convicted on 4 counts of not telling the truth to the police.
