You are wrong.
If you lie to the police you can be arrested and charged just for that very reason. Case in point, Casey Anthony was convicted on 4 counts of not telling the truth to the police.
Again.... that's a different state.... I've never seen anyone charged in Louisiana with lying to police during a criminal interrogation.

But the marine was driving by, minding his own business, when those nasty Tigers jumped him in his car?

I think the player's attorney would have been out front blocking this Apartment search if they were that worried about what they may find.
The cops had a warrant. I'd like to see the players' attorney try to stop a legal search.

State laws apply only in that state. Geez.

I've charged several. Doesnt always stick but judges will sign the warrant

How are you just figuring this out?
Stone said early this week he has conflicting stories from both sides and no third party, objective accounts of what happened.
Translation, both sides tell a different story = someone, or both sides, is lying.

Never, ever TALK to the police. Plain and simple.
It is ALWAYS a bad idea. Unless you are under subpoena, just don't do it.

Well, whatever it is called that is lying to investigators.
I don't know the legal terminology that well. I do know the investigators side rather well.

I'm sure Nathan Fisher had them fully aware that the search would probably happen

But you don't know the legal term for when someone lies to an investigator?
Posted on 8/25/11 at 9:47 am to MightierThePenIs
I think at this point the evidence makes it fairly obvious the original story from the victims was accurate. Probably left out some facts so they don't look as bad. Then someone tried to cover for the players by completely contradicting the original story forcing the police into a full investigation to gather evidence to prove one way or the other. Kind of sad someone might lie to cover up an assault, but then again not unexpected based on the initial and current reaction of many "fans".
