We never have, but this hire isn100% on Joe. With two botched Basketball hires under his belt, if he fricks this up, he is next. I doubt we take a flyer on an unproven / unknown coach .

LSU Football is a big business now, LSU will spend big bucks to get a proven coach.

I'm honestly not sure this is even possible. They give some sort of PA fake on 90% of the passes

They could pass more.

What if O tried to hire Kiffin as OC mid-season.

Have to think K would love the chance to get back at S

From the reports that's what the scoop is, LSU is expected to pass more off of play action and use the spread more. Interesting.

If O wants the job he head to put a more exciting product on the field. Meaning they have to pass the ball more.

Ensminger - LSU will use far more play action passing.

I was just about to say the same. Maybe they mean he's smarter with it?

Trent Johnson was a great hire with a proven track record. It just didn't work out. Dale Brown and Temple got their buddy hired now. Blame the "heroes" of LSU basketball for its current state.

And fewer wasted plays. By that, I mean, lining up in a formation where everyone knows LF will get the ball. Just a wasted play. We average about 5 per game. I'm sure Ensminger will change that. Beaux Tigers.

Time to Beaux up Tigers, show the SEC what you're truly made of.

Fourth - People who know Ensminger state, LSU will use far more play action passing.

This is hard to do. We play action pass on nearly every passing play. We used PA on like 2nd and 25 Saturday.

If he was directly asked by Alleva to fire CCC and didn't, why would LSU not have a case for insubordination?
