I normally make Chicken & Andouille Sausage Gumbo, Shrimp PoBoys or Mother's Famous Ralph Sandwich, but I wanted the night off to be totally chilled and relaxed to watch the game - My only duty tomorrow is to cheer the Tigers ON to VICTORY so I enlisted some help this year!

For appetizers:
Gator Sausage with Creole Mustard Sauce for dipping
Nuts
Pita Chips and hummus
Homemade Tortilla chips and guacamole

Casual pre-game fare:

Muffalettas,
Zapps Potato Chips (variety of flavors)
Crispy Fried Cajun Macaroni and Cheese w/ Creole Sauce
(Catering by Cajun Kate's of Philadelphia, Pa. Chef/owner was a sous chef at Emeril Lagasse's NOLA Restaurant and was the chef for Aquarium of the Americas. His wife worked at Bayona Restaurant in N.O., also)

Purple-N-Gold LSU decorated Sugar Cookies (courtesy of my 14 y.o. dd who's a FANtastic Baker!)
Beer, wine, a full bar and Cigars for the men at half-time!

Crab, shrimp, and crawfish lasagna; muffalettas; barbecue shrimp; with fig cookies and creme brulee for dessert. Plus bags of zapps and lots of abita beer.....though we might not be able to eat until after the game. We'll see how it goes.

raw oysters for an appetizer along with plenty of dips. Brisket, grilled chicken and sausage. King cake, cheesecake and apple pie for dessert and plenty of alcohol all day.
