I thought about grilling, but I think I'll stick with my "go-to" meal for LSU-gumps: chicken and sausage gumbo.

We're undefeated on it.

Considering the season: king cake for dessert.

Beverage of choice: Miller Lite with Crown Royal Black to cap off with a National Championship toast.

A feast, I am putting the brisket on at midnight tonight, ribs tomorrow at noon then steak bites wrapped in bacon, BBQ chicken, shrimp wrapped in maple bacon, Richards sausage, Texas toast on the grill, potato salad, corn grits, grilled veggies and lots of whiskey and beer. Cooking for 12 and that will actually be a lot of fun in itself, I love to cook.
