Still hard to believe 54 guys went in front of Hill. I wonder if Tenn would like a do over?

It baffles me how many long runs he gets considering he doesn't have top end speed.

He doesn't get caught from behind and rolls over people in front.

there is a huge difference between football speed and track speed.

but you will definitely pay attention to that 40 speed, and it WILL be a stat you will think is one of the top 3 things to consider when trying to predict NFL success

Sean Payton had him penciled in as his 2nd rd pick according to the Saint's beat writers. Without his off the field episodes he would have easily been a first round pick last year IMO. Glad to see him doing well and by all accounts his personal behavior is exemplary now.

I always said that at LSU. He baffled me how many runs >40 yds he had and how many he almost broke...

Turico last night>>> "and Hill's pulling away!"

Jeremy is lazy. He lulls the defense to sleep. They think he is slow. Then, he puts on afterburners that are special and he blows by his victims. The only way you know that is by either being on the field, or near it. I cannot see it on television, even though I know what is happening. It does not surprise me at all that he is not that fast. That is not what makes him unique.

I never understood why the don't make em wear pads and a helmet for the 40. Isn't that the most accurate gauge of how fast a guy will be on the field for a team? When will a player ever NOT be wearing his gear while playing a game?
