To make the Tourney.

Agree?

21-10

Thats either 14-4 SEC + OU loss, or
13-5 SEC + OU win

Tall order.

If we lose against ou then turn around and lose at auburn I think we kind of fall apart and don't make the tourney. We have to bounce back if we lose to ou and beat auburn on the road

Bruce's team will be tough and always play well at home

One game at a time, we must win Tuesday vs. UGA.

Those are your most likely losses...we could split OU/A&M at home though...we can also beat Kentucky but lose to UF or Bama, etc.

But I'm looking at 4 more conferences losses to finish 12-6. That's a good season if we hadn't shite the bed early. However, we should get the tourney nod having Simmons and having lost so many without two starters.

We will make the tournament with a 12-6 conference record.

No, we have more margin for error than that. We should be fine with an 8-4 finish to the regular season.

I agree. Ole Miss got in with an 11-7 conference record last year and lost their first game in the SEC tourney. And people are saying the field is more wide open this year.

You go 13-5 and your in no matter what happens with Oklahoma. It is like you people have never followed basketball before. That kind of conference record gets a power five team in. Heck 12-6 and we will probably only need one win in the Conference tournament. The early season loses without 2/5 of the starters won't matter much to the committee . It happens every year. They will say those loses did not reflect the quality of our team once we reached full strength.

I doubt we are in at 20-11 (13-5), much less 19-12 (12-6).

We better pray for zero conference Tourney upsets, or a win over OU.

13-5 is an absolute lock.

No, STRONGLY disagree. People are stuck in this mindset that 10 losses is the bench mark. It's not. Teams that lose 11-12 games always get into the field. Add in that this is the weakest bubble field, and LSU has a great chance

We're 5-2 and have played a few of our hardest games. There's 11 games left. Honestly, going 7-4 is almost a lock in the tourney for us.

Just because LSU fans are dumb doesn't make it not true. Our BPI is top 50, and that is more important than RPI

I'll defer to those who must be following the whole field closer than me. Encouraging if we have a prayer at 12-6. We have 4 important games against the top 4 SEC teams to separate us, too. Lots of opportunity left for this team.

They can't get past the early season loses. Those loses will not matter much to the committee. Every year they look past a bad start to the season of a team or teams who were missing players. If we continue to play well the effect of those games will be negligible. It is hilarious that people actually think 13-5 doesn't get us in. It shows how little our fan base follows basketball.

Losing only 4 or 5 games the rest of the way is still a pretty tall order. Especially since we never seem to come out and take control of a game.

I agree that 21-10 will do it. With a close loss to ou. 14-4 in the sec. Yes that will do it. But a 13/5 sec record and a loss to ou will be tough to get in. Simmons is the key. The networks love the guy and he will bring ratings.
