13-5 would not be tough to get in the tournament. Committee will basically ignore the early games because we weren't at full strength.

I'll say we can go 12-6 if we beat OU, 13-5 if not.

The Oklahoma loss doesn't hurt us IMO a win is just gravy and something that propel us to get in. It won't hurt us

I'll stand by what I've been saying the last few weeks:

Win 6 of the remaining 7 at home (6 SEC games, OU)
Win 3 of 6 road SEC games (just got one of those)

So now it's 6 of 7 at home (loss to OU or TAMU most likely) and 2 of 5 on the road (@AU, @USCe, @Tenn, @Ark, @UK).

That will put LSU at 20-11 (13-5) and safely into the NCAAT IMO. Anything more is seeding gravy, anything less will begin to get dicey and may require SECT wins.

For those that can't count, that's 8-4 record ROS entering SECT play.

13-5 and OU loss we will be good. That puts us 20-11 and I think we win 1 or 2 in the tourney

Win the home SEC games and go 5-4 or 4-5 on the road.

Looking good so far.

3-0
2-2

With the losses we have we have to beat OU to even have a prayer at an at large seed. If we lose to OU then we have to win the SEC Tourny or it is NIT time.

Why you posting anyways if were smoking weed? It's not like anyone is screaming we going undefeated the rest of the way! Everything that's been stated in this thread is quite logical.

Real riveting stuff

Also, drizz, I agree with that. But I think if you beat Oklahoma,
It allows for another loss somewhere

That's ridiculous.

I agree. I am going with my "safely in".

I think LSU could go 7-5 with an SECT win and still be in regardless of OU. But a win versus OU would be a resume stamp and make it very difficult for the committee to leave LSU out unless there is a total collapse besides that game.

Dude...ANY loss will hurt LSU .... We won't win out but the more losses we have the worse it gets.... A big loss to OU at home on national TV will not look good. ESP if Simmons has a mediocre day... This is an audition of sorts for the Tigers....

There is no way the committee leaves out the star power of Ben Simmons if the team wins 18+ games and wins 10 in conference

they will also take in account the missing players to start season

13-5 gets us in for sure.

An Oklahoma win would just bump up our seed.
