I know this should be on the coaching discussion board but who in their right mind is going to pay a $33 million buyout for Fisher at the rate he's winning. I just don't see Fisher being the next HC at LSU.

Unless you can prove to me that he's worth that much to come here to challenge and win out in the SEC west.

I love Coach O and the energy, and the passion he brings to LSU. Bottom line it's about winning football games to me and beating the gumps at home period.

After the pathetic showing of the offense in the gump game, CEO will have to be very impressive and win the last 3 and the bowl to have a chance. So if he does that I give him a 3 year deal, with the damn understanding you have to beat the half witted gumps.

I believe that buyout is only if he is fired. Not hired by another school.

Without seeing other responses, I would say yes. Bama is Bama but you can't let the team give up on the season. I'm looking to see what CEO can do to keep the team going and win out.

Besides the normal injuries that go along with playing a game, I didn't see LSU sustain any significant injuries last week that would affect performance this week.

CEO need to keep that fire in LSU's belly and finish strong. Do that and he's conquered the Post-Bama challenge.

Yes he is out if he loses although I still think it's a long shot if he wins out. I think Alleva has his guy in mind and it'll take a lot for coach O to win him over and last week definitely did not help

He should already be out of the running because of that bullshite game plan he came up with vs Bama.
Any other school, this would be the case.

If LSU don't give coach "O"" the head job if he wins out they are dumber than I thought they were. Speaking as of right now the only thing LSU need is a good offensive coordinator that can serious coach and teach QB's. Jimbo Fisher is not the answer for our program he would be another Les Miles good coach but not willing to change!!

Is Alleva stupid, or does he just have a death wish for his career at LSU? Does he want to get fired?

I think it would be very difficult for him to get the job should LSU lose this weekend.

Got news for ya boys...better hope we keep him in some capacity cause ole Saban will scoop his arse up...Saban is already taking kids from LA. but if he gets Coach O's help it could be bad news for an outsider like Fisher or Herman to recruit against O and Alabama...

I don't necessarily disagree with you, but I feel as though Taf already had their sights set on Jimbo and it would have taken a Bama victory to put any thoughts of Orgeron being the guy.

However there is no way in hell that I agree with your comment that Fisher is Les Miles. Fisher is a much more cerebral and forward thinking coach. Coach Miles was a great guy but his X's and O's and in game coaching made my stomach turn.
