I like the guy and hope he gets a shot but a lose to Ark should be the nail in the coffin. Ark is not that good, beat bad UF team, and with this Defense we should be able to win this even though it is on the road. If he wants to be a head coach of a big-time program then he should beat lesser programs. From here on out LSU should be favored in the remainder of the games and LSU should win the remainder. No more excuses!

I like coach O , but I honestly think that Taf has had their sights set on Fisher and it would have taken beating Bama for Orgeron to have a chance.

He should already be out of the running because of that bullshite game plan he came up with vs Bama.

IDK about out of the running but I do agree with the BS game plan. He talked up a big game about film study and shite.. however, had you truly done your film study, you should haven known that smash mouth football doesn't work against that 3-4 front.

If he had done his homework and film study, he should have known the game could have been through the spread.

And given up 30+ points to Bama. The game was 0-0 in the 4th quarter and only 10-0 final. It's like no one notices spread offenses do in fact score points. They also give up a TON of points. O had LSU in position to win the game. At some point, players have to make plays.

not gonna hold him to Alabama but Arkansas definitely and the remainder as well. Lose to Alabama is one thing but to lose to Ark for a third year in a row with a great defense unacceptable. If he wants to flip the script then lets see it from here on out. If he wins the next 3 then hes got a good shot. Lose and its over as far as head coach.

The offense does not give up points.
The system tends to give up a ton of points because they score/end drives quickly and the other team has the ball more. We went 3 and out most of our drives so it wouldn't have changed much.

There are better candidates for the HC job. I do hope O will be welcoming the idea of staying on our defensive staff though.

Yes. I would expect that would be a nail in the coffin.

I'm with you, I like Coach O, I think the team could feed off his energy, but if he doesn't win out, then he's not our man. He'll need to put up a lot of points to win over that committee.

In a word........yes. I would think that would apply to the last 2 games as well.
