Because that would give aggy their second loss and put them out of contention for anything.

Right?

Aggy seems to be the least worrisome right now.

Aggy can't stop the run to save their lives, we will cut through that D like a hot knife through butter.

I agree with all points made so far, but it'd still be nice to know they are for sure locked out

Not necessarily. Ole Miss still controls its own destiny in the West as well. Bigger chance we lose @ Ole Miss than home vs. A&M in my opinion. So I would lean toward pulling for a loss for Ole Miss.

I'd rather eliminate Ole Miss and watch them turn on their coach.

Aggies defense is still Charmin soft and doesn't scare me in the least.

Aggies lost is to bama. They are done. 11/7 is for the west

Both have 1 SEC loss and both still have lsu on the schedule. If ole miss wins, they're second in the west. If aggy wins, they're third in the west and Bama moves to second. It'll all work itself out of course, but this game doesn't have any bearing on LSU since you still have to play both, and either way the winner will control their own destiny in regards to the lsu game. An ole miss win is worse for Bama controlling their own destiny. So you can cheer for that if you choose.

very good point.

I just hate that we have a divisional game at the end of the year. I don't want all the marbles to be on the table so late.

Right?

An Aggie win would also give Ole Miss their second loss and put them out of contention.

Really, what LSU should want is the lesser of these two teams to win the game (I realize that its hard for a team that loses head-to-head to better team, but what would be best for LSU is for the winner of this game to lose to someone else later). So root for whoever you think is worse and more likely to drop additional subsequent games.

Aggies looked weak last Saturday. Soft linebacker play, poor rush game.

I just don't want aTm able to back into the SEC championship game by upsetting LSU. That big of a carrot during a lame thanksgiving game would have me worried.
