Tell Jacques I said Hi. I knew him from Lafayette...he was a tool then, too.

Doucet needs to get a life. He always is the one wanting to be first to report a negative story on lsu players, but then he wants them to play in his celebrity softball game.

Actually it's on you. It's what you wrote.

He job is to report news rather than create it. What did his being at Walk On's add to the story? Nothing. Everyone with social media knew Collins and Co. were there. He went there to create a story by ambushing those guys in the parking lot when they tried to leave.

again the players created the story by putting it on social media. If you wanted your privacy, then don't put it out there. By putting it out there you give off the impression that its a very casual thing, so why not go out there and maybe get a sound bite from one of the former players? Its not like he tracked Collins and co. down, hid in the bushes, and ran up asking inappropriate questions.

Did you not read the part when I said Doucet was "outside" of Walk Ons? Freak had no place walking up to Doucet and telling him he has to go more so grabbing his camera, fact! If you going to have a private meeting then do it at private location, not Walk Ons.

Who are the morons down voting this? It's Doucet's job to cover it. If Anthony Johnson had any sense and kept his mouth shut about his intentions, it may very well have been "private". Not tweeting about it would have been a good first step.

Thanks again one of the few on here that really get it. Can see the whole picture not the fact that some just seem to have an ax to grind with Doucet, but again this is why some are named Rantards.

And what exactly does Doucet being there add to story?

Anyways, this isn't directed at you, but others have asked for video. It's a bit buried on wafb's site, but here is it (having trouble posting link on mobile, so I hope this works):

Certainly looks like Doucet is trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill.

Still doesn't excuse Freak for touching Wafb's camera.

Not understanding the butthurt here either.

Like him or not, he's a reporter.

Understood. Some people make their money by being ambulance chasing lawyers. That doesn't mean people have to like it, like the methods employed, or agree with it.

No doubt after camera-gate, Doucet will keep being Doucet, and Freak will keep being Freak.

The media is the worst. They demand answers when they aren't entitled to them. I love that Les locks their arse out of practice and makes them watch the tired big cat drill then kicks them out. Quick to run a camera up in somebody's face but complain when someone stands up to them.

Some of you guys are something else. Far cry from what Doucet did which was doing his job as a sports journalist. He did not go inside and start snapping pictures and asking for interviews. He was well with in his rights and what sports journalist would not want to get the inside on this?

Again, Freak had no right asking him to leave, that would have been up to Walk Ons to make that call and I highly doubt they would have. More so had no right putting his hand on the camera, plan and simple!

I'm not saying Johnson wasn't wrong...he was. But it cracks me up Doucet is running around tattletaling (sp?)
