We know it's legal...so is getting upset about it. This is a non-story. Just makes Jacques look petty running to twitter to cry about it.

This is one of those situations where it's easy to just say that everyone involved is dumb.

Doucet is a jerk for playing the role of a paparazzo and calling it journalism. Johnson is stupid for lashing out unnecessarily.

So...there's video of this? I mean...that's how cameras work, right?

If JD still has the camera, where's the link of all this taking place...?

Some of you guys are something else. Far cry from what Doucet did which was doing his job as a sports journalist. He did not go inside and start snapping pictures and asking for interviews. He was well with in his rights and what sports journalist would not want to get the inside on this?

Again, Freak had no right asking him to leave, that would have been up to Walk Ons to make that call and I highly doubt they would have. More so had no right putting his hand on the camera, plan and simple!

How about this?

It was okay for Doucet to be there and it was okay for Freak to tell him to leave them alone?

Why is any of this a story?

Geez. Everyone is a complete pansy these days. Why is Doucet trying to make himself the story? Why does anyone care?

Doucet was within his right, but its pretty clear Collins didn't want anything to do with the media right then, so Freak took care of it. Not gonna lie, I kinda like it, right or wrong.

Doucet is just butthurt bc he got punked by Freak basically so he's whining. Big deal

Yeah i really dont care too much about JD getting his feeling hurt. OP said they stole the camera, but it appears that didnt actually happen.

In which case I really just dont care.

Freak was one of the most overhyped and underperforming players in recent memory. I'd be lashing out at people too

Where did you learn how to read because I would suggest going back and reading the OP and tell me where I said he "stole the camera"

Pretty simple. You said he grabbed the camera from him. The next sentence you said he got in the car and drove off. Taking someone's camera and then leaving the scene is stealing.

Nowhere did you say he gave him the camera back.

You're describing one of these guys...

Yet you want to pretend he's acting like one of these guys...

If Baton Rouge's #1 Van Halen fan wants to be treated like a sports journalist, than he ought to grow up and fricking act like one.

That being said, the players should have just walked past him like the shitty attention whore he is...

No, no he didn't Unless Freak is employed by Walk Ons he has zero rights to ask someone to leave from a public restaurant.

I believe this is the confusing part of the original post. Did he grab the camera "from" Douchet or didn't he? Grabbing something from someone = taking something from someone.

He edited his post. Trust me the "(does not take the camera)" was not in his original post.

I am sure JD has good relationship with players. Freak should have chatted him up and asked him nicely. If JD objects, he should have gone rogue. Freak is trying to show off

Again...don't cameras...you know...take photos? Video? Or is that just mine that does that?

If Eddie Van Doucet still has his camera, shouldn't there be video of Freak wrestling it away from him? Video of the player's running off after he handed it back? A car driving away?
