I'm no Doucet fan but those kids put all of it on social media. Its not like they weren't asking for the media to be there.

This is really a non issue. Doucet once again trying to inject himself into the story ala Shady's. Although he was just "doing his job".

I'll play Devil's Advocate here and assume this was both A) a big story waiting to happen and B) something the players wanted to be covered.
Why was Doucet the only "reporter" there? Is he the hardest workin' man in BR journalism? Were every other BR sports journalist too busy? It sure as frick isn't because they don't all follow these guys on social media like 15 year old female Justin Beiber fans, so it's not like they all didn't know this "huge" meeting was taking place.
Why is it simply too hard to understand that the very likely reason no one else was there was because they had no interest in creating a story? That essentially ambushing a bunch of guys outside a restaurant is a chickenshit move...unless you are a freelance photographer for fricking TMZ. Doucet almost to a 100% degree got EXACTLY what he wanted...an awkward run in with some former LSU players he could talk about.

That's my issue with this. Doucet was the idiot running with the "Jefferson beat up a helpless Marine" shite from the get go. What was he expecting to get yesterday? Collins is still involved in a double murder investigation. So Freak walked out and told him something. He's acting like that one act prevented him from getting the big scoop.

If Jacques were smart he would have hid in the bushes and jumped out whenever they walked outside. He might have gotten a "oh Jacques, you're so silly" line from Freak and they all could have gone out and have a good time.
