We had 2 the entire game. ND had 3 of them

No one is saying that at all. People are talking about a specific game. Really not hard to comprehend.

Fine ... Chavis is the lone scapegoat. LOL.

Y'all were suckin' his dick when he held Ole Miss to 7 pts when we the offense lit it up for 10, huh? Oh, my bad ... that must've been the players picking up the slack for how bad Chavis sucks.

Well ... HE GONE ... all is well now.[/quot

Well, to be honest LSU held on vs. Ole Miss and Ole Miss was drivingand threw an Int. to end the game when they were MOVING THE BALL vs Chavis prevent D

I'm not discounting those, but to be truthful, the offense only had one sustained drive that resulted in a TD. Not good.

I like how y'all are using explosive, long scoring plays as a negative towards the offense, or better yet, acting like those plays don't count

8 minute TD drive to start the game. 11 of 17 3rd downs given up. Find a different excuse.

The fact that you didn't watch the game and are still talking shite is funny though.

I seriously don't know if I could have made that more obvious.

The defense opened the game giving up an 8 minute TD drive. No excuse for that kind of performance.

Exactly and got us backpedaling from the get go. I don't think the D ever recovered after that opening drive.

AND GIVE US THE TD on the fake FG before halftime and LSU has 35 points. Dumbass.

no

I was challenging your implication that the poor defense was a result of the poor offense. That's just wrong.

Here were Notre Dame's drives

================
1st half
================

15 plays (Touchdown)
6 plays (Turn over on downs)
11 plays (Touchdown)
10 plays (Touchdown)
1 play (end of half)

================
2nd half
================
8 plays (punt)
3 plays (punt)
4 plays (50 yard TD)
3 plays (punt)
3 plays (punt)
14 plays (Field Goal)

That defense was really bad. It managed to put together a few stops in the 3rd and 4th quarter (With a 50 yard TD run in between) but was absolutely terrible other than that. AND, it gave up a 14 play drive to end the game.

We really didn't play prevent defense on that drive or against Bama this year

The interception was thrown out of desperation b/c they were out of field goal range. There was 9 seconds left on the clock and Ole Miss was out of timeouts. The defense did its job.

Also, we dropped a few interceptions on that drive. He can't catch the ball for them

I give more credit for the Diarse TD. That was a nicely called play that deceived the defense. Full credit given.

The Fournette run was just a simple off tackle run where there was a hole and LF took it straight home. Yes, it counts, but there was no particular genius or strategy there by Cam.

Last time I checked, he is the Head Coach.

I knew you'd be here to defend your boy, Mrs. Mil....errrr ... BeeFense.

Can always count on you to embrace the suck/decline and look for a scapegoat for your Daddy CLM.

So I guess he should be given all credit for our offense last year, including Mett's drastic development...
