So can it be said at this point that Kwon made a mistake by leaving?

Nope. His draft stock wouldn't have been much higher than it is now.

If he's not picked today then tomorrow repost question for better answer. It's too early to tell because today is his projection range.

Of course not. Attending college at LSU while on a football scholarship is one of the toughest things to do in life. You are forced to lift weights, run a lot, occasionally go to class, and pass with a C average. How can a young man possibly be expected to do that when only given free housing, three free meals a day, tons of clothes and shoes, and free academic tutoring?

I don't see how another year of play at a high level wouldn't have raised his stock to a 2-3 rd pick...?

It can be said he packed it in for the ND game along with Chavis.

I don't get how some of you think that coming back would have raised his stock any. He's fast but really undersized for a NFL backer. He's not getting any bigger by coming back for a year. He's still going to be that twiner size at 6'1 220. What makes you think he's going to move up draft boards just by coming back for a year. It's not like you automatically move up if you come back and avoid injury.

Yes. If he comes back and has an amazing Sr year he would have gone at least 3rd round

Hone your craft, get a degree. Be ready for life after football. Y'all act like college life is some difficult time in a person's life.

Kwon's decision was fine. He would never have risen about 2/3 round grade due to his lack of size. Add in his serious knee injury and he probably decided the possibility of going one round earlier isn't worth the chance of getting hurt again.

So far, it looks like all of the guys that left early made mistakes.

Just drafted by Tampa Bay, so he made the right decision to come out. Wasn't going to get drafted any higher next year. Good choice Kwon.

So passing on an extra year of earnings is worth going from a 4th to a 3rd rounder?

Completely agree. He was never going any higher, so might as well start making money now.

I have to laugh at some of the idiots on this board. Do you even Sam Mills dude? Field mouse was his nick name and Kwon sure as shite could have benefited another year

Sam Mills wasn't drafted at all and had to try out to make the USFL.
