I think we will have the pitching to beat anyone for the next two years.
Just need to piece together some sort of lineup that can scratch a run here and there.

probably not.

Think they are tearing down The Box. Chris Blair is gonna give us a play by play on it.

This team was severely and ultimately fatally flawed. We had a very good offense with very shallow pitching staff.
Honestly I think next years team surprises a lot of people and wins it all

It really seems like a complete waste of time to have spent so much time as a fan rooting for a team only for them to not win it all. I get no joy out of a non-NC season, which is why I'm pretty much burned out on all sports.

You should probably just stop being a sports fan if you have this type of spoiled mentality. Just because the season ends on a disappointing note doesn't take away from the great moments throughout the season.

Calm down, relax, and enjoy the baseball. It's all supposed to be fun anyway. These are not supposed to be life or death situations. Don't become too emotionally invested in what a bunch of 18, 19, and 20 year olds do. Try to enjoy it and celebrate all the tremendous successes of the program instead of pointing out the few shortcomings and bashing everybody. It's baseball. It is always very unpredictable.

Also, I don't think this was our best team. 2009 was better. 2013 was probably just as good, and all of other national championship teams and teams might have been just as good.

LSU is a good team but everyone play to win and the other day was not good for LSU that's it.

I think last year was a better chance than this - we were nearly unbeatable in a 3 game series, and would have has a great chance to beat UT at the Box. At that point, if they win the first two in Omaha that would've about done it.

But the problem is these kids leaving a year early. Had Nola finished what he started, there would have heen a realistic shot at being undefeated going into the finals this week. Gaussman did the same thing to us, and now so is Bregs. If these guys would stick around for 4 years we would have at least one NC in the past 3 years and be about to play for another.

Vanderbilt probably can't believe that their 2013 team did not win a national title. They broke the SEC record for most conference wins in a season and earned the #2 national seed. Then they went cold at the wrong time and didn't even make it out of their regional. However, they came back as a more experienced, veteran team in 2014 with a bad taste in their mouth from the way the season before ended. They won the national title, even though they might not have been as good of a team talent wise. Maybe LSU can do this same exact thing next year.

I'm curious as to why you would downvote a post pointing out that these guys leaving before their senior years hurts more than coaching mistakes and recruiting misses and anything else?
