Since we did not win a NC with this baseball team, will we ever win another?

I really thought that the 2015 LSU baseball team was the best team I've ever seen LSU have and NO national championship. It is depressing because the next NC may be a long time coming. I know we have two or more great arms coming back but having to replace 7 position players--and some of these guys may be thrown under the bus. If I remember right, Skip said, "Don't let the stress of the game be greater than the joy of the game. I'm not sure if he was talking to the players or a coach. I love LSU and truly hope LSU and all the coaches, fans, players, and administration personnel will keep us an elite university, a university that we can be really proud of--

So being proud of a university is hinged on winning a baseball national title?

NOPE...Alleva should shut the whole baseball program down, fire all the coaches, give all the equipment to local Little League, tear down the Box and make it a parking lot for football games....

Maybe its just me, but I think we will be more set up to win it next season than we were this year. Our 2 best pitchers should both be ace level next year. And we add a few that could be on that level as well. Thats what the teams that win it all have more than anything these days.

No can do. We don't win football titles, either. Tear down Tiger Stadium and The Box for a world class golf course for our only national championship program.

We're a golf school now.

Well LSU has the become the best team in the SEC first (21-8 record without playing UF & Vandy). I mean just look 2/3 best teams in the country made the final 4.

The best teams in sports don't always win it all.
Not saying we were hands down "the best" this year, but we were good.
In my opinion LSU has had better teams than this, '09 for sure.
'98 was a good team that didn't win it all, and '13 was a great team that looked silly in Omaha.

I can say with 100% confidence that LSU will win another baseball national championship.

We will win another one but it's just as likely, perhaps more likely, we will do so with a collection of overachievers than we will with a collection of all-americans.

we are looking great in 2017. Lange Latz and McKay could all be dominate weekend starters, and we could bring in other great pitchers. It seems CPM is brining in about 1 great pitcher a year.

It takes great pitching to win it all. We didn't have that this year.
