Yes - he should start the bowl game and every game next year.

If jd isn't much better than he was in the sec championship game than it is definitely up for discussion

Nuss is not our starting QB and likely never will be. Folks need to quit wasting time and killing brain cells with crap threads like this one.

Whoever gives the best chance to win should start. It’s that simple.

he definetly wasn't 100% before georgia, and maybe 40% during the 2nd and 3rd quarter and played before nuss

Just let each quarterback play a half, simple solution. (But don’t announce it).

This simply isn't that easy.

If Daniels is coming back, Nussmeier probably will be in the transfer portal before the Citrus Bowl.

Also, what everyone is forgetting about Nuss is his Leadership in the 2nd half.

The kid was constantly lining up players and telling them where to go when they looked lost . He knew where every receiver was supposed to be on the play before the snap. If you don't know how important that is to a coach, then you are clueless.

Next year is next year. Kelly knows what his QBs can do. You start the QB that gives you the best chance to win the bowl game. I think Kelly owes the team that. If you are a senior on this team, you want to win the game. I would be highly ticked if I was a player and felt like my coach was mailing in this game just to find out what a QB can do.

this bowl game should be looked at as spring tryouts

Does spring tryouts get you to 10 wins?? Didn't think so.

And our starting qb has a bum ankle right now and will likely not be fully healed by the first of the month. Hence, why we're all "killing brain cells" discussing it.
