I think Kelly will play Daniels if he is able. He partly made us what we are this year. He is the conservative safer choice. Daniels will be here next year. We aren't even sure we want him as our first string QB, why would a pro team want him? He is what he is at this point.

Nussmeier has more potential which could be developed. I don't see Kelly taking that chance. He is too afraid of turning over the ball, like someone else we know.

100% yes. Not saying Nuss for sure needs to start next year but he deserves a full game

There is a big difference between coming in down massive and just slinging it around and actually managing a full game. Would love to see what he can do

If the plan is to have JD5 return and start then Nuss will not play.

The kid was hurt. He was dragging his leg on and off the field to help this team (that's LSU by the way) win. He drug it to/from the locker room. yes, you can play and be injured and have enough composure to not weep on the sideline for the next two hours. I'm sure he was on pain killers, which numbs pain but does not help bone/joint function. To imply that he was not really hurt is pathetic but also pretty telling on your part. Your comments show your cards and agenda. You can argue back all you want but what you're insinuating is low rent, not to mention you have zero facts to support what you are saying

If JD can barely walk, we need to start Nuss.

If LSU's plan is to try ball control by being extra cautious and safe against Purdue, we're about to get waxed in the bowl. Because that plays right into their gameplan. Big Ten style football.

No. YOU haven't seen enough of Nussmeier. The coaches have. So the coaches should start their best QB, assuming Daniels gets healthy.

daniels could barely walk and the coaches let him back onto the field. it was only after he literally could not stand up nuss got into the game. I don't think the coaching staff expected what happened saturday night at ALL. I think it honestly shocked them how good nuss looked coming off of the bench.

what happens in practice is practice. LSU had two games this year passing for less than 90 yards.
