I don't know about the rest of you, but at one point late in the 3rd quarter I was hoping they would put Jarret Lee in at QB so Jefferson could compose himself. I agree with Doug Moreau when he stated that Jefferson appeared confused and out of sync. That's not to say I'm giving up on JJ--I simply think he needed moment to see the game from the sideline.

i think saying..."we dont trust you to make the right plays and decisions right now"...may have the opposite effect

I agree...it would be different if they had been working Lee in for a series or 2 every game, but you just don't make a change when he's struggling a little

I'm willing to give Lee another chance.

I think at some point, Jarrett Lee will get his opportunity. With that said, I don't think you pull your starter for you backup unless you plan on making it a permanent fixture. JJ has done a decent job of not turning the ball over or giving 'gifts'. Our offense has been getting pretty stagnent, but a lot of that has to do with us not being able to run the ball, not JJ making mistakes or turning the ball over on a consistent basis.

I disagree. I think the 1-QB system is working just fine right now.

Dont really hate the kid...but no....no reason for him to play at this point...all thegames have been close so far and JJ has gotten the job done!

I think the reason we see such conservative offensive play calling early in the season was due to the disaster the coaches created for Jarret Lee last year.

I hope someday Lee will be a key playa again. He is too good of a talent to sit on the bench.

I've heard people say things similar to this. I think it's just another way of saying we don't like our #1 QB so let's try the backup.

JJ is the starter and should take every snap unless we're running the wild tiger, he's injured, or we have a huge lead.

I can argue it both ways...I don't mind the way it has gone because JJ needs all the work he can get. But had the staff put together a package for Lee for a couple of series a game it would benefit JJ by being able to watch a set from the sidelines, and benefit the team that the backup has some time in the game. But it would have to have been handled well from the start. You don't simply just throw in the 2nd string guy anytime the first guy struggles a little.

I think this is a fair statement.

Whenever we punt on 3 or maybe 4 straight possessions, Lee needs one series.
