Senior Bowl pace not busy enough to make LSU players forget 1/9

""It's been a hectic week, but great," Taylor said, "Oh, no sir, I can't get the game out of my mind," Taylor said. "That's always going to be on my mind until I'm an old man. Yes sir, because that was my one shot to win a national championship, and you can't ever get it back. So it will always stick with me."

Probably will stick with me the rest of my life as well. I will always be puzzled about that night.

+1 I feel bad for Lee, because he was a Senior, led the team to a 7-0 record for this to happen. but he will make it in the NFL like Matt Flynn.

BT will always be one of my favorite Tigers. Wish the offense could have helped get him one.

"Maybe so," Blackwell said. "Maybe Jarrett would've done something better, but who knows? And I think that's the hardest part -- the hindsight. You don't know. If Jarrett goes in there and throws three picks and we lose, then nobody's talking about that. But who knows? He could've gone in there and thrown three touchdowns. But that's something we'll have to live with, and there's nothing we can do about it now."

Sums it up for EVERYONE I've talked to. Thats why it feels like Miles just quit to most of them

Are you seriously comparing Lee to Flynn? JL is a great kid but an NFL QB he will not be.

Hopefully, Miles will learn from this and make amends with the players and for future teams.

No, sportswriters following the All-star games started making the comparisons

Jarrett Lee may only get an invitation to an NFL camp and compete for a backup job. If he can find a team to ride the bench and develop, Jarrett Lee could be the next Matt Flynn.

I was in Tiger Stadium yesterday. I am glad I was able to go into the stadium before the first game this year. I was able to get out of my system that I will never have to see J Jeferson play QB at LSU again.

I am now more excited about this football season than ever.

This is so stupid. Why is Lee more important than any other player on the team? I'm as pissed/frustrated about that game as any fan....not b/c of any slight to Lee, rather b/c of the game plan displayed that night.
This really isn't a JJ/Lee thing...it's a terrible job of coaching thing.

Then they are smokin crack..........he will not stick in the NFL because he doesn't want to get hit.

That is the same opinion many fans had of Flynn a few years back.

Think about it, Jamarcus was the starter, Flynn played sparingly until Jamarcus left. Flynn didn't shine until his senior season, just like Lee. Simarlarities are their but situation and time are different. Lee is improving his stock for the draft. Unless you are a psychic, you dont know.

I know I'm going to get flamed but if I had been CLM I would have pulled JJ in both the UGA and Arky games. Les stuck with him and we got the wins though not entirely due to JJ. I'm sure that is why he was slow to make a move in a game that we were always one play away. As far as the fans opinion go if JL had come in and done great they would have been happy and if not many would have said he should have stuck with JJ.

According to some of the genuises on this board, he should just get over it and move on. I mean, it's been a whole three weeks! I guess he just doesn't have a robust life outside of football.
