Sankey was okay with Florida drawing lines in the sand publicly while LSU offered contingencies two weeks ago. Then when Alleva drew a line in the sand while Florida was offering contingencies early this week, Sankey was suddenly not okay with it.

How in the blue frick does that work?

Not a good move for someone who is essentially a politician.

Because he is scared of Foley and Florida. But he bows up to Alleva and LSU. I can't stand people like him. I work with a few guys like that.

This says a lot about LSU's position in the league office compared to Florida and Bama. This entire mess was created by Florida insisting they would only play at home on a saturday. Sankey did nothing to press for a Sunday game that could have easily been played. Now they are throwing LSU under the bus. Alleva should demand an apology for the slap in the face.

University presidents need to hold a private conference call and put an end to the public catfighting. To have the commissioner participating is juvenile and unprofessional.

Speaking of pathetic, let's discuss Foley and his effort as an AD for the last two weeks. Surely, UF has a president that can put that jaundice face weasel in his place?

And then there goes the UF community. A bunch of cucks following a retard.

At least LSU fans can spot when the real issue at hand is inept administration of our own. See the Miles supposed to be firing last year, and F King's involvement as example.

Florida fans, on the other hand - "duhhhh. Flor-ree-duhhh. Gator good."

Everyone else played that weekend except Florida. Even another SEC game that was affected was rescheduled. Foley and the SEC commissioner failed to get this game played last weekend. It is their responsibility to have contingencies in place to play their home game, not LSU's.

I still don't understand how the SEC does not have contingency procedures in place to handle games cancelled due to hurricanes, lightning, etc.

Remember, even the decision to cancel the McNeese game was screwed up in terms of the cut off time.

With these public comments chiding LSU/Alleva, Sankey has now doubled down on his stupidity and incompetence.

You don't like our pathetic and paranoid fan base, then GTFO. Sankey screwed up but like a lot of people in our society today, he's not manning up to his mess he made and blaming someone else . . . "But, but, it's not my fault!" Screw that. This is not LSU's fault and I give props to Alleva for standing up to those dipshits.

Somehow ESPN is able to say, simultaneously, that UF was the "bigger" party AND that it will end up working for them in the long run.

WTF?

LSU football (right now, not 10-20 years ago) has more ratings, more national interest, and probably brings in a lot more money to the SEC than Florida football.

Sankey is weak as a leader and got his a$$ in a very bad spot b/c of Foley. Then Foley essentially bails him out so now he is kissing his a$$.

Pretty simple really.

I don't know what you guys expect from Sankey. If he had leadership and character this whole deal would have never blown up in the 1st place. You think he all of a sudden changed? He's weak.

As for the media's slant, well...

Tiger fans need to tweet, email, call, write and hound this piece of garbage Sankey every single day. Pinning this on Joe Alleva to save his arse! He should be fired!
