I don't see it on the home page of Fox. cnn.com isn't confirming that Stevens was even on the plane.

Poli Board is reporting that O'keefe was on a different flight.

I'll repost this. Didn't know there was a thread about this on this board.

Very bizarre, but Sean's office is claiming he wasn't on the flight, but had taken a different flight out of Seattle. A friend has theorized that Sean's son may have been mistakenly identified as Sean. This is, of course, contrary to what has been reported by every news agency and you'd think he would have said something if this were true (unless he's on a very long flight and has no idea this has been reported), so I doubt it is the case, but we'll see.

I was originally told that Sean AND his son were on the flight, and I still believe this is true because others on the flight were father/son/daughter pairs.

Sean is a good family friend, so I really hope he and his son are okay. I still don't know which son, though.

My mom talked to Catherine Stevens, and she confirmed that the Senator is dead. I was not always a fan, but that is a horrifying way to go, and BTW, Catherine is one of my all-time favorite Congressional Spouses.

I didn't mean misidentified based on sight, but by name. Either way, I don't believe that theory. It's been way too long. They were both on the plane.
