You act as if I think Fournette is garbage.

Check my sig. Check my fan flair. I'm not hating on Fournette or saying he's garbage. I said that he wasn't special in 2014 and isn't special yet 3 games into the 2015 season.

Grow up.

He's a special specimen but is not the GOAT running back or a "special" back. He's big strong and fast and is a great guy. He isn't what he's capable of being but he's very damn good. Grow up and stop resulting to petty insults.

So he wasn't a special specimen last year?

When did he become a special "specimen"?

Wouldn't want to take it out of context. You've changed the argument about 10x now

I'm sorry, but petty insults are just the most descriptive words for you.

So because you watch him a lot on the Internet, he's the best.

No way man. He's the best because he worked for a corporation and didn't have anything to do with football, but now he's on the internet.

He's lost weight and gained/speed muscle. He was a physically gifted guy last year as well and I never said he wasn't. As a running back he isn't special yet. Stop being a homer and falling into hype.

Has he not been very good this year? He's not yet to the level of being an all time great.

You are dick riding this so called "scout" while shitting on Gil Brandt at the same time? Do you even know who the frick Gil Brandt is & his background? Dude has taken dumps that contain nuggets of talent evaluation breakdowns. He is a god in the world of NFL scouting.

LF is much different so far this season than last

Without a doubt. He was very good last year and great in the last few games. He has said himself numerous times that Frank Wilson has drilled into his head to make defenders miss instead of just trying to run them over first. That was his mentality last year (or he just wasn't patient enough for his blocks to play out). He had four games where he didn't average 4 yards per carry (didn't even average 3 ypc against Kentucky). That seems unimaginable this year. This year he is waiting a second or two and allowing himself to build up some speed before before stepping on the gas and hitting any defenders. When he does that, he is in another league.

Also, whoever said he is running through holes big enough for a truck to fit through - yes, the line is blocking really good on runs, but none of our other backs are doing the damage he is doing and they are running behind the same line. He is the 1st back in LSU history to have back-to-back 200-yard games. That is saying something - and it hasn't been against typical cupcake teams.

Don't you dare discount Richardson's production as a college back

Richardson was a good back

heres what he put up against the top 50 rush defenses he faced in 2011

89 yards on 23 attempts (LSU) #8 in rush defense
96 yards on 20 attempts (LSU) #8 in rush defense
37 yards on 13 attempts (Kent State) #25 in rush defense
107 yards on 19 attempts (Vandy)#38 in rush defense
181 yards on 28 attempts (Florida)#42 in rush defense
111 yards on 26 attempts (Penn State) #44 in rush defense

only game that sticks out is against florida. every other one is just a good performance. not great.

it was always my impression that Richardson was a good back but I never was in the hype of him being great.

You're seriously getting angry over the person that made a thread recently called

"Will Brandon Harris be the greatest QB in LSU history"

Now I'm getting a clearer picture of you. You must be an Alabama gump embarrassed by the way Trent Richardson turned out.

I have studied him very closely in three games this season, and Fournette is as complete a player as you will see at any position. In last week's game against Syracuse, he ran for a 62-yard touchdown and on the next series he had an 84-yard touchdown run called back due to an illegal-formation penalty. Later on, I watched Fournette make three pass-protection blocks and one blitz-pickup block. I also watched him catch passes, another area in which he excels. Fournette is a rare individual who doesn't have any weaknesses that I can see.

You better respect the legend that is Gil Brandt baw
