The video is from 2014. Was Fournette special in 2014?
And you're an idiot for thinking Fournette would go #1 overall after 3 games in his sophomore season.
I guess Trent Richardson was the greatest back ever, too.

i followed him on twitter for a while, but he always came off as an internet scout. I was wondering if he actually was a pro scout at one time. he just seemed kinda nerdy

Yes. His combo of size and speed combined with his effectiveness as a TRUE freshmen made him special. He likely would have been drafted out of high school. He is a rare specimen, and if you say otherwise you are wrong and just digging a hole because you have staked out some ground opposing something so clear. You are being hard headed.

That's beside the point Matt. You are all over the place in this thread contradicting yourself. How many super bowl rings does matt waldman have, matt waldman?

I think he's a former scout in a large corporation and a longtime NFL fan. He combined his talent for scouting in the business world with his fanship and has connections with tons of former players and budding NFL scouts.
I've been watching his videos forever.
Of course everyone's fallen to the Fournette hype on here and anyone that challenges his GOAT status after 3 games is a heretic.
No, just no.
You're cute.

No. He was a solid starting college back in the SEC.

Great college backs. Don't you dare discount Richardson's production as a college back and him being drafted in the first round. Pull your head out your arse.

Show me a better one on an easily accessible platform that has done a video on Fournette. Please.

Yes.
NYT article discussing Fournette's NFL readiness NOW.
Do you really think that he wouldn't have been drafted out of high school? if he is ready to be a first rounder as a sophmore in college?
OK.

No one in the NFL would ever draft a kid out of high school. He isn't a first round pick after 3 games in his sophomore season, either.

TA: the video is on his freshman year
For all we know he hasn't watched any of Fournette's stuff this year
He commented on it TONIGHT and said he still is not special. Do you understand how the English language works?
You backtracked. Try to stay consistent with your arguments

It's a tweet. Wait until he does a video before you take it out of context. Go waste your energy somewhere else.

Well, most analysts and commentators seem like they are seeing something special. Mel Kiper, has said that he could be the #1 overall pick in this year's draft, depending on need of course, he's been dubbed a Heisman frontrunner by most, and even the latest odds of him taking the trophy is 3/2...that's 1.5/1 in case you need some help.
Granted, that it's only 3 games into the season, and who knows what will happen down the line, but I would think that the more he plays, the better he gets. That's usually how things work out. Sure, there'll be games that he doesn't rush for 210 yards, but how many top run defenses will LSU play this year. I think Bama will be the toughest run defense he'll see, but let's see how well they stop Chubb this weekend before I even say they'll be able to bottle him up all game.
Seems like everyone, except you and this douche from scout thinks we are witnessing greatness. I guess some of us see the glass half full and others see it half empty. Just glad all Tiger fans aren't as pessimistic as you. Be happy and enjoy LSU having such a "SPECIAL" player. Geez!

So because you watch him a lot on the Internet, he's the best. He should do a scouting video on you in this thread. He would certainly find rmnldr is "special."

You wrote all of that crap just to say you have no idea as to what you're talking about. Neat.

I give up with you. I guess you will learn soon enough Matt.
It's rare that someone like LF comes along, but it's not rare that self-proclaimed scouts try to make a name for themselves by generically predicting a special player to "not be special... yet" so they can attempt to proclaim themselves genius if they get it right when nobody else did. But can hedge their bets by saying "I said yet when he was a freshmen."
It's not clever and it's only self promotion, I guess some call it "click bait"

I'll continue to enjoy watching a special running back dominate for my favorite football team.

How can i take it out of context?
He directly answered the question to if he thought LF7 was special.

You've said he was special and wasn't special in the same thread. Give the computer back to mommy.
