It's obvious to anyone with a brain that he's special.

You're backtracking now. He said, tonight, that LF7 wasn't special. You didnt know wbat you were talking about despite psosting the tweet

Quit defending this idiot. You're looking like 1 yourself.

agree. Let's see if he can continue to get better. Don't crown him yet.

So is he special or not? You said earlier he was. Quit backtracking

Gil Brandt said Fournette would go #1 overall right now. But no, he's not "special." LULZ

He is a very unique specimen with a good combination of speed and power. He's been running through holes that I could drive an F-150 through. Pump the fricking brakes.

I'm obviously an LSU fan and a fan of Fournette so I think he's a great back. I'm not backtracking on anything.

Waldman was referring to his talent, which means he was dead wrong to say he isn't special. Nearly everyone else in the country recognized him as special even though he was inexperienced. He was a true freshman and set the LSU record for rushing, what else should he have done?

Won a heisman like everyone expected him to?

He was wayyyyy too hyped last year coming into his freshman year. He worked his tail off and was the most improved player on the team over the off-season. He's continuing to become a very great back on the verge of being special at the college level.

Let's just watch him become what he can become because I guarantee he hasn't scratched his potential.

I didn't watch all of it, but I couldn't argue with his analysis of what I watched. Yes, the potential was there, but 2015 Leonard Fournette is waaaayyyyy better than 2014 Leonard Fournette.

I remember Cam Cameron saying Fournette was the most improved player on the team, and I thought he was nuts. It is now obvious that he was spot on.

Fournette's vision, decisiveness, and lateral moves are vastly improved over last season.

Pick your poison from the greats who have played this sport as RB.

Someone with speed, power, agility, and vision. Obviously Fournette has the potential to be special but he's still early into his sophomore season and running through huge holes.

You guys are missing the point about being "special"

Trent Richardson was called "special" and look how that turned out.

Thank you.

I thought you meant going into the draft. He would be a top back going into the NFL draft. Sorry. Trying to respond to everyone calling me an idiot at once is tedious.

Doesn't matter what these people think. He's the best offensive player in college football. His work speaks for itself.

You've been missing my point every single fricking time.

WALDMAN IS AN NFL SCOUT AND HE IS COMPARING HIM TO NFL GREATS.

FOURNETTE IS A COLLEGE BACK AND IS A GREAT "SPECIAL" COLLEGE BACK

HE'S AN NFL SCOUT

ETA: the video is on his freshman year

For all we know he hasn't watched any of Fournette's stuff this year

FWIW most of his videos aren't him alone. He usually has other scouts/analysts/former players with him in his videos. You'll have to look at his site.

Just wanted to go on record to say you and anyone who says he isn't special is wrong and likely just a dumb arse trying to be contrarian.

He is the best back in college football right now and has demonstrated a level of dominance against all FBS opponents that hasn't been seen since probably Adrian Peterson. If he decided to quit football this week, I would call him the best college football running back that I've seen since AP.

LF IS by all measures special, and finished the season last year a special back.
