Allowing 23 yards per punt return, obvious,y worst in conference; and nobody has even taken one to the house on us

Not as terrible kickoff return stats against us but still near bottom of conference, time to put Gamble out there to kick it through the endzone at least.

Thank God Tre White returned that 1 punt for a TD:

Keehn has been one of the more frustrating players this year

Our special teams have looked very shaky - just a matter of time before someone breaks at least one for a touchdown. We've gone a long way from the days when special teams were a weapon for us. Need to get it fixed!!

It's only a matter of time. I think this may cost us a close game this year

I agree. We can't cover for shite. We'll get hosed if it's not fixed.

Special teams has been awful. The blocking shield on punts is almost non existent and it's causing Keehn to suck kangaroo nads.

Our coverage hasn't been great, but I think the bigger issue is that other team's returners are fielding the ball while our coverage guys are still half the length of the field away.

Which is worse:

Peveto's Defenses or Peveto's Special Teams.

Just let that sink in for a bit.

Keehn either shanks it for 15-20 yards or booms it on a line for 55 yards with 3 seconds of hang time

That's a big part of it. We can use our team speed on kickoffs, get down the field to cover, but can't tackle from the 20 in. Nobody sells out like we used to.

Both are critical talent evaluators and greatly help with the overall game plan each week. You don't know shite about the impact they make in this program.

It's not impossible to find a good recruiter AND good coach.
