CFB is the greatest sport on the planet and if you have a full blown playoff all you will know is who is the hottest team at the end of the year. When is the last big CFB game where you could hear the QB call the snap? Go watch any pro game and tell me you have the same excitement. Tebow is the hottest ticket going and I heard every snap yesterday. Its just not the same. We have a great game. Don't ruin it with anything more than a +1.

No I have pointed out the obvious flaws of the BCS system but you don't agree so you are, once again, throwing a tantrum.

We all know there are problems with the BCS system. You are not going to fix it. Even with a playoff, or the old system you could have a rematch and you still would be terrified of Bama, and complaining. The system worked like it should have, if OSU had been chosen there would be people saying it didn't work then as well. You can't please everyone.
The two best teams are playing, looks like it worked as well as it could have.

ITS NEVER BEEN ABOUT MATCHING THE TWO BEST TEAMS. It's also never been about who could possibly beat #1. In the past it was about "regular season" "body of work" et.
If it were wouldnt it say that on the BCS website.
If Bama earned there way to a rematch through a playoff I would have absolutely no problem with it. But as it is they were simply chosen.
I find incredibly disrespectful to LSU considering all they have already accomplished.

OSU would have simply been chosen. It's the system, LSU received the benefit of it in '07.

That's just it. The standard for choosing changed this year. it was changed for money by ESPN. OSU should have been chosen based on "the body of work".
I agree LSU benefited from the flawed system in 07.
Playoffs would work all this out on the field. but as long as we fans continue to accept the crap the media crams down our throats the BS BCS will continue.

Now you're talking. You guys are in the wrong place if you're pissed about us being there. CLM was all over this from the very beginning saying he would be honored to play us again. Then having his team scream and holler in the ESPN filming of your response to the Bama BCS#2 announcement was brilliant. He's a smart guy and your fans need to get on board. As much as some try to diss it I've found that fan attitude does trickle down to player attitude. Maybe not 100% but there's an influence that is undeniable.

Sorry to tell you pal. Its about #1 and #2. Doesn't matter how you get there. There are a 1000 different reasons why voters put Bama #2 through #4 and OkSt the same. We just had more of those votes than they did. Your reasons why we shouldn't be there are in the votes. They're just a minority. It worked for you in 07' and now you bitch about it in 11'.
