I got my dad an autographed photo of YA. The one where he's bloodied and in the NYG endzone. He has it in his office and calls it his "you can't win them all" pic.

One of the greats. RIP

My dad and Y A Tittle had classes together at LSU.... he was my dad's favorite player.

I'll never forget my mother's description of YA's jump pass, she would jump to demonstrate his talent.

Both my parents were students at the time he was there, consequently he is my favorite player.

Yes, RIP. The Bald Eagle was truly outstanding. He was from Marshall, Texas.

And as stated above, had a great NFL career of course.

RIP to an all-time great. His recruitment where he was basically kidnapped from Texas is one of my favorite LSU stories.

My first LSU game was in 1948 - YA was the QB. Played NC and their star player was Choo Choo Justice. I was 10 years old.

Never forget that first experience in Tiger Stadium. Knew that is where I was going.
