First, on the marijuana issue. I would rather my players sit in a room and smoke than go out and drink. Hundreds of thousands of people are killed each year either directly by drunk drivers or indirectly though alcohol related health issue. A trainer I know in New Orleans told there are arguable reasons in favor of track(Or any) athletes smoking pot. Keep track of real rules that affect other people before you harp on this one. I know a rule is a rule but this one is almost meaningless to me personally

Second, as a Bama fan and a REAL sports fan, you want the other team to have their best. November 5th is set up to be a way and I do not want either team to have ready-made excuses if they come out on the wrong side. I am certain the REAL sports fans on the LSU side feel the same way. You want your best and their best knocking heads.

Not a drinker here so I am biased. I do the other.

Yeah I know the rules too and they have to follow them but I don't agree with the actual law/rule

I've heard that from a lot of posters. But it's banned by the NCAA so there's really not much you can do about it when it comes to deciding whether or not a player should be suspended.

Don't care who is on the field I just want to win! That's why teams have backup players in-case of injuries, grades and so. So if Bama loses Trent, and anyone else, I really don't care. I just want to win.

Absolutely alcohol is a gateway drug but marijauna leads to other drugs as well. Trust me in this. There are many scientific studies that show that this drug alone is responsible for leading to cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin etc. Alcohol basically opens the door because your inhibitions have left your body. I totally agree that alcohol causes problems that run deep and affects the individual and their families if abused.

I think you are full of crap.
We got a generation gap issue with LSU fans
I want athletes to follow the rules since they on my dime ... period. You don't follow the rules you pay the price ... very simple.

On your second paragarph ... go suck an egg and put on your depends, keep several handy, I don't care who we go with we will kick your Sabama butts.

Maybe for some people. But why are there so many more stoners than meth/crack heads?
