Rematch with Bama in the national championship game

This would be the perfect scenario in my opinion. This is the only way LSU can redeem themselves against Bama. I pray this happens via any way possible.

So assuming we beat them in November, you would be ok with them getting another pass to the playoffs where we could possibly be matched up in the first round?

So you're saying we have to beat Alabama twice in the same year to redeem 2011?
I think the playoff format was the reason it came to be
No more repeats from the same stupid division
a home loss is big, but it didn't seem to stop Alabama from Playing an undefeated LSU team
Still one of the great injustices of CFB...

If it means we get them in the NC game then hell YES!!!!!
2011 is a dark cloud that will never go away until we pay them back on the biggest stage possible which is the national championship game.

In the new playoff era, a rematch is a highly likely scenario. With the dominance of the SEC, it's probable that the SEC will produce two of the top four contenders.

You cant redeem 2011 by winning a game in 2017. Regardless of the future, bama won in 2011-12.

The board would explode if we won the regular season game and lost to them in the NCG. The fanbase couldn't handle it.

when highly ranked teams meet twice in a season, the team that won the first time loses the second. LSU Georgia in 03 is the only exception to this i can think of.
