Same for either. Lange has better stuff and more upside but there's really no drop off with either. Poche is more consistent and they both balled in the tourney.

Why use Gilbert though when he is one of our good bullpen arms?
If we're not starting Poche Friday, I'd start Bain or Peterson.

I think you're underestimating them too much by going that route. I know for some reason ppl don't feel this way but Friday is the most important game 2-0 is the goal which is why you'd just as soon use the normal rotation you won't have Lange or Poche Monday no matter what.

With that said, I still go with..
Fri: Poche (pull him after 5 or 6 innings when LSU is up 20-0)
Sat: Lange
Sun: Walker
Mon: Short rest Poche/bullpen (if necessary)
The biggest reason why you pitch Poche on Friday is so he could be ready to go on Monday if we play, just like last season.
