Refund mess and how LSU will handle

Anyone that believes they are getting a prorated Taf or tradition fund refund is insane. The most you will get back is the $25 or $35 face value of the ticket. This is where the dynamic pricing of tickets could really help LSU. If the season ticket was priced straight across 7 games a situation like this would cost LSU much more. By pricing this game at $25 instead of $50, it could end up being a big money saver. You won't get any cash back. If there is a refund it will be a credit toward next season. Now, the people that will really get screwed are those that bought tickets from the ticket office with cash and don't have that ticket to bring back to the office. There is also no chance a parking pass is refunded. You parked your car just as you would for any other game. You got to tailgate and enjoy the traffic leaving the stadium. Of course LSU could just say you went into Tiger Stadium and saw football for 2 series, you got to see the band performed so screw you.....

There will be no refunds despite double talk currently blowing out of the AD's office.

Are just rambling about shite you don't know or are these facts from LSU?

Simple....refund the face value then raise season ticket price for that same value = problem solved !
Bought your ticket "second hand" ? = tough shite cause LSU athletic dept. shits on season ticket holders AND non-season ticket holders ! How about some more overpriced "neutral site" games ??? LOL

Not even close to the same situation.

Correct. No way in the world there should be a refund. Tickets are sold, and it's caveat emptor. How in the hell could they manage their budget that way?

Just really glad I didn't go to the game. Alleva has ruined the experience.

The game should have been played whether it be late last night or today.

Does Aleva know anything about creating a CONTINGENCY plan ....that's the better question...LOL

Everyone asking for a refund should never go back to a LSU game again. Pathetic.
Posted on 9/6/15 at 10:54 am to ronnieone
Lsu expenses for hosting the game were just as much last night as if the game would have been played. Revenue will be down because of the loss of most of the concessions. I expect them to credit season ticket accounts for the few dollars face value of the tickets. Makes no difference to me if they do or don't.

You don't need a contingency plan for a game that literally means nothing other than a tune up for SEC play.
It was play it last night or no game at all. Nothing else.

Want to tell us just what the contingency plan is for the "meaningful" games ? Wanna bet there is NONE ???

Concession sales probably weren't that bad, you had people essentially stuck in the stadium for a few hours, so I'm sure there was plenty purchased

No weather control but he has ruined the parking and tailgating situation.

I wouldn't be so sure about this...
Because it was an LSU game, I stayed until the end...which was a little after 11 when Dan finally called it. By that time in the EU, those who stayed essentially bought out all concessions out of boredom of just hanging around. There were certainly less people, but those that stayed likely bought as many or more concessions than they would have otherwise because they were stuck standing next to them all night.
That being said, anyone thinking they are getting or deserve a refund for a sporting event that got cancelled due to weather is a god damned moron. And my guess is, those that are complaining are the group who would have likely left in the third quarter anyway...
Me? Sure...I'd have prefered to see the Tigers play, but I got to be in Tiger Stadium from 4 until after 11 with my 8 year old son who, from the sound of it, was far less of a giant vagina than many here...so I'm happy today.
