Wonder what new perceived grievances she will find in the WNBA?

Probably that she is going to get paid $85k per year.

You are clearly lost on this topic. She has already stated that her NIL deals are long term and continue with her post college. Maybe whatever local deals she has may end but she is a national brand type. She is good.

Will WNBA teams even be patient enough with her to allow her to become a competent shooter. She offers rebounding at a high level and pretty good defense at the moment but not sure that's enough to keep her on a team for more than a year or two.

This is where I’m at on the decision. I don’t think she makes the team in year 1. The NBA is full of the type of player she’s proven incapable of scoring well on and she has absolutely no ability to use her speed to drive around if they can just sag off since she can’t shoot.

Great college player and did a lot for us, but the WNBA is brutal on draft picks and her game does not look like it will translate.

She played with an injury.

So it’s good to see you think she’s a warrior.

I am glad for her. I wish her the best. The only women’s basketball game I ever watched was because of Kim Mulkey. I will never watch another Angel Reese game again, but I hope she makes a lot of money.

Going through Vogue to announce is some top tier shite. I’m impressed.

The fact they had a full fashion shoot layout ready to go with the announcement article and interview sounds like she's had her mind made up for awhile...

Her best bet is to sell her sex appeal. She will make a ton more money off that than anything else. We have seen this time and time again with even mediocre female athletes.

Funny how the idiots here, most if not all never played ball at a medium, let alone high level, are saying she bombed in her last game. Yet NBA player after NBA, more than a few major college coaches, are piling on her praises. Safe to say these experts know 10000% more than you haters here. And these are hate attacks. CKM would take her back in a fricking heartbeat. You honestly believe she's never coached high profile players before? Johnson's comment says it best re this issue " she told me she didn't care if I was an astronaut who landed on the moon. All she cared about was I was in the gym for 1:30 practice".

I'm impressed that you're double and tripling down on your grandpa tirade. Take a lesson from Governor Landry and quit while you're behind.

Apparently, you don't get it. I never said WNBA is popular. But Angel is, and she and Clark may help elevate WNBA. The WNBA is excited both have declared, because they are both superstars with personalities. Angel is ready to move on from college. She has accomplished all her goals in college and has nothing more to prove. She is an adult now and ready to move forward to the next step of her life. There are some limitations in college, obligations with classes, and extreme scrutiny at LSU. She is ready to start her career with WNBA and continue her national branding NIL's and social media platforms. She will carry that to the WNBA and maybe pick up more national NIL's. And modeling while in WNBA. She will be taking advantage of her popularity the next couple years, whether she is in the WNBA or not.

She’ll be out the “league” in a year; top draft picks get cut first year and she ain’t exactly elite talent. She’s a girl Edey.

Probably because she could make just as much in college and NIL as WNBA. Top salary in WNBA is just under $250,000.

The top salary paid from LSU is the cost of school, housing, and food. It is valued at far less than $250,000.

It’s not about the money

This move IMO is she wants to move on from all the non stop eyes and scrutiny that’s is at LSU. In the wnba, she will just be another player and life will settle down

She obviously wanted to play pro ball eventually but I do think winning the national title and media frenzy this year (especially the negative side) steered her towards this.
