Yes. People for some reason assume the sponsorships would go away.

Depends... How much are companies willing to pay for a bench player in the WNBA? People think these companies are just giving money away.. they want return...exposure...She had a much higher profile in college.

Pick #11 was waived last year. Fist round picks aren't a given to make the team.

no WNBA team is going to cut her

she is too much of a draw and would probably be the biggest name on their team Day 1

I think a lot of these cats are clueless to how social media works these days. She has 2.7 million followers on ig alone.

There are regular housewives with 200k followers making $100k a month on ig.

These are just regular women who build a following and cash in by promoting products. She is going to be fine as long as she has a following, regardless if she ever gets a penny from the wnba.

She’ll make a salary in addition to her NIL money (endorsements). It’s a no brainer.

But the endorsements will dry up once she’s a mediocre wnba player that nobody watches. She would make more in college than wnba.

Social media fame/money seems to last only until the next big thing . Remember nobody knew who she was until she did the ring thing last year and was a hot topic.

Probably because she could make just as much in college and NIL as WNBA.

Some of her NIL deals will likely carry over, most of them pay her for the amount of reach she has due to her social media following

Who was pick 11?

Nobody probably even knows her name

Reese will make a roster based off name alone and tickets she’s gonna sell when a new fan base adopts her

She’d absolutely thrive in a city like Atlanta where it’s 48% African Americans

Honestly, the WNBA has a chance here in the next few years to grow a bit given the increase in attention on Women's College Basketball.

Yes her endorsements will follow.

For how long?

She was part of the two most watched women’s bball games of all time. The game the other night topped out at 12.3 million viewers.

The highest viewership of a wnba game all time is 1.3 mil.

I said this last summer. I’ll say it again. She needs to get real good at being an influencer.

Unless her and Clark’s entrance to the league has some bird/magic effect, she’s at her highest bball influence right now.

Exactly. Capitalize when her name is at its peak.

This is exactly how she will make her money. It won't be from the WNBA.
