And we could’ve gone further if he wasn’t. Claiming Benford is better than Wade shows just how ignorant you guys are.

Errybody’s coaching depends on talent You really think Pat Riley and Phil Jackson are the best b-ball coaches of all time. Wade isn’t the best Coach either but he is and has done without a doubt a better job than McBland and the future doesn’t look promising. Recruiting is 70% of college sports and WW was in the 90 percentile & MM is in the 10 percentile. He’s got exactly 12-20 months to right the ship.

Multiple top 10 offenses both in scoring and efficiency. A top 10 defense his last season. Very good recruiter and scheduler, almost all his players outperformed their projections . Best record to start a career at LSU, highest career win% in the tourney era at LSU with an SEC title and 4 top 5 finishes in 5 seasons. Did it all with zero financial support. Ranking him at an 8 is conservative in terms of “understanding the game.”

6, but most of the board all of the sudden thinks it’s 10.

In fairness, this doesn’t rule out his ranking of 4

40% of this thread claim he’s dog shite so I dunno how “the board thinks he’s a 10” when not one person has said that is true.

This is how you know the current coach is dog shite. You are starting threads on the previous coach in March.

Is it actually 40% or are you just making up things like usual?

I give him like a B- on X’s and O’s

If he improves at them he will be a monster for some school

I'll go with a 7. His offense was consistently good. Plent of players developed and made tangible improvements while he was here. His defenses were inconsistent from year to year but he did show he could produce a borderline elite defense in his last year. His team played hard for him.

For the people asserting he was less than a 5...just how talented did you think his teams were? You're acting like we had multiple lottery picks and underachieved by losing in the 1st or 2nd round.

I liked Wade as what he was a clone of Dale Brown. But I will be fair here, been watching LSU basketball since the Dale days and LSU has never been able to inbound the ball regularly against pressure.

but you don’t coach the talent he had and basically never have any success in the tournament without having some flaws in your X’s and O’s

how do you know this? The administration never allowed him to coach in the tournament.
