this QB race is a beauty contest with the fans. if BH REALLY IS better than AJ, he will eventually win this battle. if not,AJ will continue to be the starter. coaches don't get involved with popularity contests.

If Jennings starts, plays well I will not give a damn that Harris is not starting.

Small sample sizes are not always very good indicators. Harris did not look poised against Auburn. So which small sample should one base their expectations on?
Well seeing as how Harris looked really good against Sam Houston State, New Mexico State, and Mississippi State, I'll go with those 3 as an indicator of what he'll be able to do when he's more comfortable and mature in the future. He threw 5 passed against SHS, 9 against MSST, 14 against NMST, and 14 against AU. So by my count that's 3 small sample sizes where he came out poised and played well, and 1 small sample size where he looked terrible. And MSST had a better defense than Auburn so it's not like he's never shown that he can handle himself against solid SEC competition.

Or should we just assume that he sucks because he had a rough outing as a freshman on the road against a top 25 Auburn team in a hostile environment while our defense was playing with no intensity and getting shite on by Auburn's offense every. single. drive. Do you remember when Jamarcus Russell went 6 for 19 with an INT against a bad Ole Miss in his first season? Bad games happen occasionally

Unless they've already moved on to Feleipe Franks, you won't find anyone who says that Brandon Harris's ceiling isn't astronomical. It's a question of how close to it he's gotten after 1 year of college play.

Don't be mad bro, Anthony didn't force you to steal his shite and sell it on craiglist.. actions have consequences. Maybe you can resurrect your career at North Alabama like Janoris Jenkins did.

If you can take the time to get Jennings cock out your mouth, it would be better for all of us

I'd heed your own advice. Your post history reads like a Jennings manifesto.

ETA: Congratulations on getting this thread anchored.

They will make that decision with far more data than we have.

There is no coaching conspiracy to disappoint you. Relax and enjoy the season.

You sir are so wrong.
I will prove it.
Ahem

No sir. Everybody on the Rant knows better than that. The best available athlete never play regardless of position. Just read the many threads addressing that very point.

Please. You have to be either crazy or high to post that. Every plant worker, off shore rough neck, ageing frat boy or chemically impaired student is better qualified. All of them have perfect 20/20 hindsight and are perfectly suited to make game time decisions. After all they all do it all of the time on their Gameboys. Once again just read the Rant.

Really you believe this? I'll have you know that Rant posters have double secret inside information that no body else ever has. They can't reveal the sources of course. That would compromise the information flow, but trust me they are right on regarding their information. Again the Rant proves this.

This is laughable. Of course there is. There is this indeed a major conspiracy to make LSU fans unhappy. It is led by Les Miles himself who secretly hates LSU,followed by the SEC administrators, particularly the referees, then joined in by ESPN, CBS, the newspapers (for those who still read them), radio talk shows both local and national and certain New Orleans voodoo queens. The Rant is very clear on this point.

I'm sorry that I had to show you up like this but truth must out.
And have a great day

I get you now. You are below average in life. When someone is below average and people talk about it in a negative light, it's offends you. That's fine bro, not everyone can be above average, hence you and Jennings completion percentage. Take your participation ribbons and go cheer for an average program

The best QB that Miles thinks fits in his system will play. That may or may not be the best QB.
