again, "top 15" usually means finishing in the middle of the sec pack.

This season is not over, so once again it's a theoretical premise.
May still win 10-11 games...will that fit into the decline, as well?
13 wins is setting the bar pretty high and anything shy of that should not be considered a "decline", but to each his own.

10 wins is no longer elite in a potential 14 game season. If LSU can win 10 consistently and once every few years win a national championship they are elite. LSU lost three games last year with supposed superior talent, I believe it will be 4-5 losses this year.
It's a do or die for the staff in recruiting this year. If LSU can hang on and win 10 (which is what we expected) haul in a huge class and improve next year, the decline is a myth.

The Defense has been good consistently overall till this year. If we can't stop no one next year then we are in a decline. I will wait and see next years team before I can agree but you maybe right time will tell

We may. And i hope we do. Bud do you really believe after seeing last night's performance coupled with how we've played this year coupled with how we quit last year that we would? using the data we have, signs point to no. Bama is bama, i don't think we have a shot. TAM is going to be a shoot out but i fear that we will quit after bama. We'll beat furman and arkansas. Then we'll have to see about the bowl game.
then on to 2014 where we lose our weapons and bring back out meh defence. I'll pick us to go 14-0 again then we won't.

LSU "fans" now believe the only quality win is beating Bama.
Any SEC win is HUGE and it's the toughest conference to win in week after week.
Unfortunately , many LSU "fans" disrespect our opponents not named Alabama and by virtue of that minimize any LSU victory.
