Radio Orlando - 740 the Game (AM) ESPN 580 (afternoon) - listen if you can

If you are curious about what they are saying in Orlando ....
The talk on the afternoon show was not about the Fiesta Bowl, but what UCF could do now that they realize a playoff spot is not in their future. Talking a Group of 5 playoff + the 5 and 6 team from the power 5. They are not worried about LSU, but more about why they keep getting screwed buy the committee. I hope the Knight Players aren't taking LSU serious either.
Morning show 740 the Game with Mike Bianchi and Mark Daniels, the play-by-play announcer of the UCF Knights and one of the more knowledgeable sports personalities on the radio. He's a pro. Bianchi is a sports writer for the Orlando Sentinel and a first class tool. He'll say anything to stir the pot. Can't stand him.
Afternoon show is ESPN 580 Orlando with Scott Anez and "Nicky Football." Very much a homer show, but interesting take on UCF and the whole CFP system.

Look, we got screwed out of going to the 4 team invitational again this year is what we all believe and what our AD Danny White stated. Last year we’d have won it, too. So now we’re relegated to the Fiesta Bowl. What a farce of a system!!!!

If UCF is serious about contending, then they need to do what Utah did years back and move into a major conference. I feel for UCF but the cards are currently stacked against you.

Play a real schedule. Get over yourself and play some real away games and then we'll talk about a playoff.
There are about 2 SEC team's that wouldn't be undefeated with your schedule.
Go out and earn it and until you do that then shut the frick up

Awwww, they won't let you play with the big boys. Play a real schedule where you're challenged week in and week out. No one screwed you. You weren't left out.

The lack of UCF respect is pretty scary.
All I know is that we better show up in Glendale or we are going to get blown out. Missing 5 starters on D is a big blow.

Which would prove what? (Not that have any chance in hell of making something like that happen.). The most viable means for them to get into the playoffs at some point is to schedule three significant out of conference games with good P5 programs. That's what FSU did in Bowden's early years. They would play anyone, any place, any time.

Nothing. The talk radios guys were conceding that they will never get in and are looking for a new angle to gain revenue for their program.
I think they would like love to schedule OOC games. Texas has been here. Oklahoma is on their schedule. Their biggest hope is that ESPN will create a Kick-off game at the Citrus Bowl against a power 5 team. UCF stadium is too small and they only fill it for USF and Memphis. Commuter campus and hard to get the students back for games.
