No, but I'm not an SEC homer. I was pulling for all SECW teams to lose.

This has no effect on LSU. If we manage our own business and Miles gets an offensive vision, the status of other SEC teams won't matter.

Could care less. I cheer against every team in the SEC. Who gives a shite if Danny Kanell gets to use it as "proof" the SEC really sucks?! He'll bash us anyway.

Winning is great whenever it happens, but winning is even sweeter when everyone is pulling against you. So did the SEC screw the pooch this bowl season? Absolutely, but we will still dominate going forward.

I am happy about it. The SEC getting knocked down a few notches lessens the chances of a certain team who doesn't win their division/conference getting a mulligan into the playoffs.

No. Why would you want it any other way unless you're 11 and like to come up with childish bragging rights that make no sense. If every other SEC team or more specifically SECW team had won and looked awesome then you need to worry but group fail means nothing. We know what top recruiting classes are capable of so just coach them and learn how to win. A tall order in our case. But it's no mystery.

Maybe a little fire under asses is all I take away from this.

it's been the big 1 and little 13 lately anyway, so I'm pretty happy to see Bama fall off

Yes and no for me. The overall strength of the SEC is a plus for all the members in many ways. I definitely wasn't for Bama because they have won too much. I was for State, UGA(apparently they are the only SEC team that can beat an ACC team).I pulled for Pigs, Cocks, Mizzou, UT, obviously LSU and will pull for Gators. I was ambivalent about TAM, Auburn, and OM(pathetic how they lost). This could all change next year.

Having said this, I would have traded a LSU victory if the rest went 0-11. All the games are independent events. Maybe overall this year the SEC is somewhat down...certainly no dominant teams, but I don't think any of the college teams are dominant. PAC 12 is the only conference with an argument this year against the SEC. So the cache the SEC built will work for a couple more years despite results, which for the west was not pretty.

Nope. It was bound to happen, and frankly it's good for the sport if there is more parity. I'm quite ok with the losses by Bama, et.al. I'm mostly concerned about LSU anyway.

Nope. Not at all. Frick the SEC.

After watching the bowls it was clear Bama was in for it. The SEC has become too Bama Centric the past five to seven years with the schedule rigging and lopsided officiating.

Bama was a three-loss team this year if it were not for the Bama alum that runs SEC officiating. Hell, even the game they lost (Ole Miss) had some of the most inept officiating this year. 2014 resembled the 2009 season in so many ways it was frightening.

I don't care about the SEC aside from the corruption that taints the sport every Saturday. They want a better, more respected product, they need to fix this soon.

ETA: Funny thing is, if it were not for the playoff, Bama would have destroyed FSU in the NC game. This playoff may be good for CFB after all.
