LINK

41-33

Was he playing golf before he entered the league? If not, he could probably have a 2nd career after the NFL.

Story I've heard is that a position coach of his in Arizona got him into the game when he was a rookie. In less than a year he was playing damn near scratch golf. He plays tournaments all over when he's not playing football. Pure athlete

I have no doubt that PP7 is a decent golfer. However shooting -3 on that back 9 at pebble beach after only playing the game of golf for a few years???

How many mulligans and gimmes in that round?

Louie Cioffi is my neighbor and plays in our regular golf foursome, said PP7 is the best athlete and most coachable guy he's ever worked with.

That's very impressive if so. I wouldn't have guessed that.

Well, I knew a few junior golfers who were scratch or near it before hitting 17 years old. Most started playing seriously around 12 or 13. So it doesn't take that long if you learn the right way and have natural talent.

He's got a lot of free time and money to get good instruction, aaand he lives in a golf crazy area. It's very possible.

Being a super freak athlete with elite hand-eye coordination, extreme strength, and from what we gather extremely coachable there's no reason he can't do this. I bet he crushes the ball off the Tee. He lives in Phoenix so he can play year round, and he probably has access to the best lessons one can get.
