This loss will probably drop us to an 10/11 seed instead of an 8/9, we will avoid a 1 seed in the second round. Better chance at a Sweet 16 Run.

Don't forget how well this team has played over the last three weeks, we had an off shooting night combined with a lack of effort early that ran into a team that shot 70% in the second half.

I expect the Tigers to give Arkansas everything they can handle on Saturday, this team has played every ranked opponent they have faced tough.

Some of you people need to pump the breaks on the NIT, this team still has a lot left to accomplish this season.

Beat Arkansas and we're in. Lose and we need a good showing in the SEC tourney.

you know how a team shoots 70% in a half? I can tell you its not them getting lucky, its called they got a heartless d and they could do anything they pleased.

We will likely beat Arkansas given how predictable this team is.

Will see what happens from this point dtiger3, but the only thing they pass is the look test. If you guys want to think this will give LSU a better seed to advance in the NCAAs, I will say the Tigers will not play anyone worse than 8 of our losses. I don't think the Tigers are in anyway at this point.

We don't have to hurry to campus at 5:30pm on a weekday to watch horrible basketball for another 8 months.

There are no positives!

Josh Gray to the point with Quaternan to 2 or 3.

I've yet to see this conbo with Johnny this season

I hate the freak out of arkansas but with LSU leading the league in turnovers and getting out rebounded a lot - there chances is slim and none. I think they will have to go deep in tourney to get in ncaa

The main thing I take away is that Hornsby will be a great senior leader for our team next year. He has been solid.

This team just does not always bring the energy needed against lesser competition. I would be surprised if they didn't come out and play Arkansas really tough and maybe pull out the win.

Where do these guys come off thinking they can just show up when they want to. They dont deserve shite. I want us to make the tournament but we are just going to take a bid from a deserving well coached mid major team that actually cares and loves to play the game.

You guys are fricking crazy sweet 16 run.

We just lost by double digits to a .500 team on our home court in the SEC .

You talking now how this is a good thing we be 11/12 instead of 8/9 to avoid 1 in second round.

Lets break this shite down to elementary for you, we lost to a fricking.500 SEC team in the next to last game of the year. You are concerned about easiest round to Sweet 16

The only positive tonight was half court shot at halftime

Solid post

LSU has played up and down to there competition all season long, so anyone arguing how bad some of our losses are should be happy to know that outside the 15 and 16 seeds there aren't bad teams in the NCAA tournament. We are 9-5 against RPI Top 100 teams on this season

LSU has the 12th best Schedule-Adjusted Defense in the country according to Kenpom.com, a time tested sign of a dangerous team in the tournament, where defense becomes more important.

A quick glance at power rankings shows that as a 10/11 seed LSU would be anywhere from a 3 point underdog to a 1 point favorite depending on who they got slotted against, and a 6 to 9 point underdog to the higher seeded opponent in the second round. Not nearly as f'ing crazy as you may think.

Let's not forget that Tennessee was 11-7 in a weaker SEC last season with some questionable losses to A&M x2, and Vanderbilt yet was seconds away from Elite Eight losing to Michigan by 2.'

The point of this thread was simply to state maybe everybody should lose their damn minds over 1 game and look at this teams body of work over the last few weeks and realize the positive has far outweighed the negative.
