BINGO!!!! For the so called "Fans" who were booing, or saying Lee marched us down the field and didn't deserve to get taken out just don't understand football!! You don't risk your starting QB getting hurt on a QB sneak, and you go with the QB who is 6'5" and outweighs Lee by 30 or 40 lbs. It was the correct move by Les, and anyone who understands football would realize that.

You would think LSU fans were the Oprah's of college football before one booing incident. We've always been brash and in your face, loud and obnoxious. It's why they call it Death Valley! It goes with Louisiana. I was there the night we cheered when Wade Wilson got hurt in the dome.

Where was the disrespect for Chris Leak when Tebow came on as a formation sub in goal line formations? Where is the outcry when Michael Ford comes on for Spencer Ware in goal line situations?
It isn't disrespect for the starting qb. It is a formation substitution. Disrespect would be sitting a qb on the bench for an extended period of time. This did not happen.

There was a twenty-page thread on here yesterday asking what Jefferson brings to the table that Lee doesn't, with dozens of posts saying that there's no reason to ever let JJ play a down. If you think fans who booed a guy for stepping onto the field in a situation that was tailor-made for his experience--and then booed him after he scored a touchdown--would have supported him on a regular first and ten, then you and I have interpreted today's situation very differently.
Let's hope that enough of these fans are embarrassed by their childishness that this won't continue all year.

I just got back from the game and our tix our at around the goal line in the SW corner. When JJ came in, the boos broke out, and it wasn't just a smattering. I think it was worse in the South Endzone because the play was on that end.
Anyway, it was a fricking emabrrassment. The morons were out in full force today. It wasn't just the JJ thing either. One guy behind me yelled out every ignorant thought that popped into his head and he obviously never played the game; my 13 y/o daughter has a higher football IQ than that jackhole did. I've taught my kids from the time they were old enough to go to games that you don't boo anyone but, perhaps, the officials.
