Typical JJ fanboi!

I have no problem with Jefferson and I believe he should play. I just think if you are playing both he is the better off the bench option. I think he changes the pace of the game. Lee usually starts off pretty good and we need fast starts.
I will say that Lee obviously gets flustered more easily and he makes a mistake or two it could snowball. That's what happened in Alabama.
\When that snap touched the ground he just came up throwing.

Then ask him why he hates JJ then. He is the lesser human being if he hates JJ solely because the color of his skin. I do not waste my time with morons that cannot understand the difference in melanin.

1. JJ takes too many sacks.
True

2. JJ seems to wait for receivers to get wide open before throwing.
If you have time to do it this should be a good quality.
quote:
3. JJ has a tendency to only want to throw either 5 yard passes or bombs.
Opposed to JL throwing all those imtermediate routes? Watch more games he does the same thing.

4. JJ is scary inaccurate sometimes.
This year or last year?

5. JJ seems to throw to guys that are double covered.
I have seen JL throw into triple coverage I guess that is ok. Did you not see JL's 2 picks against Bama?

is throwing motion and what happened in 2010 really a reason to despise a kid? shite...they had people saying that if JJ starts against Arky they hope we lose. Others said that Miles should be fired. Some were trying to sell their tickets to the Ole Miss game because of the possibility of JJ starting.
I mean seriously...wtf is wrong with some of you? It was one game against WKU. frickin' relax....you're acting ridiculous.

The offense is extremely painful/frustrating to watch with JJ in. Nothing comes easy. Jefferson is not a good quarterback, no matter how much Les wants him to be.
Having said that, we lose to Alabama if Lee is our only option last week. I don't know if Miles' thinks that "Lee screwed the pooch on the big stage last week, he'll do the same in a National Championship game."

"Fans" on here bitched about jj throwing a flat TD pass a few weeks ago pure ignorance.

OH JJ won the Bama game now not the LSU team but JJ all on his own. Put down the Kool-Aid dude. The LSU defense and special teams won the Bama game same as they did in about 7 of "JJ's 11 wins last year or do u really think a qb who manages to help account for 9 points in a game that went into OT should be solely credited for the win!
Now that is funny

quote:apparently JL has had the WKU game circled on his calendar all offseason. He got tickets for a ton of friends and relatives. He bragged to everyone all season 'Wait til the WKU game!! I'm gonna shock the world!!!' and then Miles jerked the rug out from under him.
It was one game agains WKU

No issue with Jefferson, he played well last night. Les did right thing last week as Jefferson played better than Lee. However, I do not believe one bad game should cost Lee the starting job. He has performed above and beyond expectations all season and while he performed horribly against Alabama he still deserves the starting job.
If Jefferson continues to play well it all goes away if LSU wins the BCS. However, I feel bad for Lee as he did lead LSU to 8-0 record while performing well. I don't think either QB is the reason LSU is 10-0 as the running game, defense, and special teams have been more important. I was concerned last night as the LSU offense seemed out of sync in first half. That can't happen vs Arkansas.

It boggles the mind. Take out perceived injustice to Lee. Take out the bar because you hated him before that.
What did the guy do to make some of you so butthurt?
It does boggle the mind no doubt. All Jarrett Lee did was get this football team to 8-0 and No.1 in the country. He has ONE bad game and now he's yanked? It has nothing to do with not liking JJ, it's that JL obviously as a quarterback can make plays with his arm, JJ is marginal. Take another look at his throws in this game. I just don't understand it.

His throws last night were on money and no worse than some of ones made by Lee this season.

I totally agree with you Choctaw another weird one their, LSU wins football games not JJ or Lee.
However as per Drexyl's post above he obviously believes JJ won the Bama game all by himself!

I could be totally wrong. I'll just give my opinion.
It seems like when JJ is the QB- the O is all or nothing. He can throw a great deep ball. So we either get the bomb or we punt. He doesn't consistenly move the ball, and we don't wear defenses out.
I think Lee, with the ability to complete short, quick passes etc- is more capable of leading the O to sustained drives and wearing out the opponent. And he can throw the deep ball when needed.
Again, I may be completely off base.
My issue isn't with JJ- its with how Les handles JJ.

I don't have a problem with JJ, I do have a problem with JL losing his starting position from one bad outing and no chance to redeem himself and get his confidence back after all he has done for this team this year. NO... I think that is some seriously messed up horseshite, and can't stand behind that decision to throw him under the bus.
All Les did was confirm everyone's fears when JJ came back on the team, that he was looking for an excuse to pull Lee, and there you have it. Everyone who was on here laughing at that as ridiculous should consider that as well.
