Plain and simple, why do some of you have such a issue with JJ?

It boggles the mind. Take out perceived injustice to Lee. Take out the bar because you hated him before that.

What did the guy do to make some of you so butthurt?

His throwing motion sucks and he's inaccurate? Eta: butthurt facial expressions. Blank stare.

JJ must be laying a lot of wood around BR. A lot of pissed off fathers and boyfriends.

You'll never get an honest answer to this question from many of the JJ haters. Heck, some of them probably don't even know themselves why they are compelled to constantly knock him.

It is not the anger towards Jefferson, it is the injustice to Lee. This guy started 9 games and we are undefeated yet Lee doesn't get to start the 10th, something isn't right. If Jefferson fails in the future you need Lee to come in and play with confidence. I think Lee's confidence isn't very good right now. Lee should have started tonight, if Miles wanted to put Jefferson in later so be it. Miles has made a statement..Jefferson is the starter.

It's a lot of prejudice towards Jj plain and simple maybe if he ever got the support Lee gets he would be even greater, plain and simple he has way more confidence than Lee.

Horrible throwing motion....Stays in the pocket too long...takes sacks....underthrows the ball...Last night all the deep balls ,but the RR td pass was underthrown.

Motion and effect. Arm strength is whatever. Accuracy is more important.

Im tired of people using JJ's throwing motion as a reason not like or support the guy. Bottom line is that his throwing motion and accuracy has thrown FAR LESS interceptions and won FAR MORE games than Lee's throwing motion.

In fact if we want to argue let me ask you this. If you had to choose between which flaw that you could live with then which would it be:

A) JJ's throwing motion

or

B) Lee throwing off his back foot?

Both of those can affect accuracy. Which could you live with more?

JJ threw 4td passes 17INT's in regular season play last season.

Honestly. Just like some people look at Lee and think 2008, I look at JJ and think 2010 anemic offense with nothing but three and outs.

Or Lee's tendency to crack like an egg at Waffle House when under pressure

Is that a typo, or are you just well schooled in how gullible the rant is?

For most it's not personal and I think he is playing at a higher level this season than at any point save the bowl game last year and he has earned snaps this year.

However going what was it 9 games without a TD pass last season? That's the issue.

JJ is a great change of pace guy, but unless Lee becomes the turnover machine he was as a Freshman again, our O is just more efficient with him at QB. He is better at play action, better at timing routes.

JJ is better at option, moving in the pocket and finding someone once the route is broken and making positive plays with his feet on scrambles, but there are times in series and in games when you have to take a 3 or 5 step drop find a target and let if fly for a reception. This is JJ's 4th year and he still cannot do that on a consistent basis.

Look we don't beat Bama last week without JJ but we would not be 10-0 without Lee.

We need both and need both confident and playing well to win another BCS title.

Me? I would start Lee and bring JJ in for change of pace and ride "hot hand" as games play out each game.

But much ado about nothing if and until we lose. Winning is the great deodorant and I'll take wins, smile, move on to next week and leave the recriminations and second guesses to others as long as we are winning.

I don't care if Wing or Mingo or Stampley gets the snaps at the QB if we win another BCS title.

Haters gone hate.

JJ threw the ball as well last night as any QB all year. People keep dissing him for underthrowing (completing) deep balls, but Lee has been floating deep balls all year. These people just don't like JJ.

My biggest issue with Jefferson is his tendency to hold on to the ball way too long. The safety was a prime example of that last night. You get one, maybe two options down on your progressions then you get the ball the eff out of dodge, don't get sacked, and definitely don't throw the ball up for grabs when you're actively being sacked.

I'm not against JJ. I want the best QB we can field. I think that this season, and some of last, has shown that neither of these QBs are THE answer. Combined, they are at least an acceptable answer.

People might claim racism by the fanbase, but this same fanbase wanted Rohan Davey above Josh Booty. I would say that it's mostly about on the field performance.

Fair or not (looking at you, Gary Crowton), JJ was at the helm of a putrid performing offense in '09 and '10. All of a sudden in '11, the LSU offense was looking pretty good. Is it JL? Is it GC gone? I don't know, but I would rather dance with the one who brought me.
