I love how Saban showed up, immediately saw how much of a chode Ben is, and immediately threw his arse in the ticket office.

Yeah, we used to have a coach running the athletic department and now we can’t even get the AD to run it.

This is where a good AD would say, "Compliance, you play a critical role in our commitment to win with integrity, and within the rules. At this time we are not aware of any rule violations, so for now, you guys can get fricked."

There is a massive leadership void and it appears he is the most ambitious of the clowns in the LSU admin.

Ambitious is too nice of a word

Over zealous is better imo

It doesn't make him look good. Just example #100,001 that he lacks backbone.

It looks like we're just going to have to let Jeremy Foley force the meeting on him and F. King.

No evidence has been brought forth that this McKay report is actually true. And it is beyond my comprehension that an employee can tell his/her boss what to do and what not to do and basically overrule them.

Alleva can have a mtg with WW anytime he wants. Just text him and go by his house at 8pm tonight and sit and talk. He can take FKA with him. This could have been done at any point and still can be.

EDIT: This must be understood in context, which is that Will Wade had laid down the law that either Miriam Segar had to go or he would, and it looked pretty clear that Segar was the one on the outs in that battle before that Yahoo! Sports piece came out. So this is very much a political battle on top of all this. Weak leadership allows this stuff to happen.

Wow if true! This explains a lot from the compliance office/CWW side of things.

Makes a lot of sense

LSU compliance has been THE issue for year now. It’s good that these names are starting to surface and be exposed.

Another quote from some dude:

quote:

Michael K. Bernard I’ve heard from numerous people that the blame does not lay with Bo Bahnsen it all lays with Miriam Segar...these people also made comments to me (and this won’t happen of course it was like a joke) that if Saban ever came back to LSU she would be out of a job in less than 5 min

Why can't Alleva meet with Wade without compliance and NCAA present and then decide if what was said during the meeting is sufficient to lift the suspension?

Or fire him! The admin is a bunch of fricking idiots. They either have enough to fire him or they don't. So if you do then fire him. If you don't then back him.

Those SHOULD be the only two options!

This has been a team failure on behalf of LSU admin.

The good news is their days are numbered at LSU.

Wait, so a woman with the OT's favorite haircut put the kibosh on reinstating WW? This is getting to be like some sick joke.

How many villains can we expose from this botched fiasco? I love CWW, but if we lose him over this, we better drain the LSU swamp with him. This is beyond ridiculous at this point.

I'm sorry, but I'm going to need a bit more context as to HOW the Sr. Associate Athletic Director for Women's sports would wield so much power over the men's basketball team and presumably, the Athletic Director? If these comments are to be believed (and I'm not sure they are) then LSU's athletic dept and administration as a whole is in complete and utter fricking shambles. This is the equivalent of a mid-level manager directing how the CEO handles business with one of his vice-presidents. Something isn't adding up here

If true, I really don't get why LSU compliance has such a hard on for arse kissing the NCAA.

There's only one reason for that type of arse kissing - and that's Bo looking for a position with the NCAA. Which, for Bo, might be easier to come by considering that I'm sure he has some type of relationship with Mark Emmert - the NCAA President.
