I thought before the game we should have come out slinging the rock to surprise them. Turns out, that was Bamas game plan and look how well that worked.
Saban did the same exact thing to Tebow and the Gators in the 09 SEC championship. Came out tossing it all over and took them by surprise. They ran the Gators out of that game too.

All it would've taken would have been one 15-20 yard pass completion on a slant or curl over the center and the pressure on the LSU line would have eased. Before that 20 yard pass the linebackers move to the line or blitz at the snap. After that pass the LBs are frozen for a moment until they see where things are going. Our offensive line can play with Alabama's but not when 7 or 8 are in the box just after or at the snap.

I'm going to have to agree with the post hoc utter BS assessment.
The failure to seek a plan B was and is embarrassing.

I heard JL had a legal issue for which miles benched him.
I don't know if I believe it but that's what a high school coach told me who was on sidelines at the NC game and is first name basis with frank Wilson.
